Large and good house with very good qualities. Beautiful location, with large garden and view of the fjord. We would love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay in this nice, newly renovated single-family home in Ålfoten. The house is spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything one might need. The scenic surroundings made the stay extra special, with great views and quiet surroundings. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful, both with tips for local attractions and making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The beds were good/comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the patio was perfect in the late summer sun. Grocery store about 30 meters away, with opening hours 07-23. The location is ideal for those who want to explore the village, with a short distance to both fjords and mountains. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay. Reasonable price compared to what you get. We'll be back!!! Highly recommended!

Is great out in idyllic surroundings. Even nicer in reality than on the photos. We had a wonderful time. Recommend Sandane Fjordsauna which is 50 meters away.

This is a great place to relax. Scenic area. Near the house there is a hiking, at the top of which there is a view of three fjord, it is incredibly beautiful. Annette and Rudolf, thanks for making us feel like at home!

Elegant, modern and clean house with a breathtaking view! Well-equipped such as: cooking spices, shampoos, etc. Suitable and very fun for kids because there are so many toys like scooter , notindu etc. The Sandan area is great with all the services from the market , a bakery about an hour away from Strain and about an hour Host Thomas was great in communicating and collaborating with us on many topics. Thank you , we'll definitely recommend your place to friends!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rune’s apartment. The apartment was extremely well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Set in a beautiful location ideally situated to visit many attractions. Rune was very helpful both before and on our arrival explaining everything about the accommodation. We would definitely recommend Rune’s apartment.

Cecilie was so amazing! Fantastic stay! Clean, cozy and the view from the apartment was breathtaking. Can't wait to come back. It is truly a hidden gem! Nice quiet location right on the lake. We were there with three kids and had a lot of space. We very much enjoyed the lake in which we could swim, fish and sail. Margunn and Olav were very helpful with advice and action. Recommended!

Veldig hygge! Elinor was one of my favorite parts of our honeymoon trip. She is such a sweetheart and truly cares for her guests. We were greeted with delicious ginger snap cookies and a table cloth from our home state. Such a personal touch! The apartment was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was small but we still were able to cook spaghetti one night and burgers the next. It was awesome that we could charge our EV in the garage over night. If we are ever able to come back to Sandane, we are absolutely staying with Elinor!

We LOVED staying here!! The location was wonderful- set away, but also accessible to so many attractions. It was cozy and comfortable. We loved having the rowboat too!

Perfect from start to finish. Ellen was very friendly and greeted us even though we were arriving a little late. She showed us round the beautiful and recently refurbished hut. It was very cozy and warm for our arrival with fire lit. Such a treat to have some time off-grid in a beautiful location and a different experience. The hut is also a close drive to restaurants and shop if required but is even closer to a beautiful Fjord. Thank you for a great stay!

This cabin is an incredibly beautiful, peaceful and quite place. Anna and Torger gave us a very warm welcome and were super responsive. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful location! This nicely equipped home had everything we needed for our family of four, including our one- and four-year-old children. Note that the house does not have access to the fjord shore, and although it is listed in the amenities there is not a kayak provided at the house.

Very nice place and nice view at the cabin. Was neat and tidy in the cabin and it's easy to communicate with the host.

We had some very nice days at this place. Ole always responded quickly and was very helpful. The beds were a little too soft for our taste and there could have been a little more storage space, but otherwise everything was perfect 😊
