Waterfront vacation rentals in Glasgow City Centre

This property was truly amazing. The views out the window of the river only added to the experience. We walked to OVO Hydro for a concert and the walk was a short 25-30 minutes. Craig was truly the best host. He checked in regularly with us, suggested things to do, and just overall made sure we had a great experience there.

Private, comfortable and right in the town centre. I will definitely return on my next trip. 10/10

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The accommodation was fantastic and exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was perfect for our family. Dan was a wonderful host – incredibly nice and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always available to answer any questions we had. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Airbnb stay

We had a great stay here. It was so cool to be able to stay in a castle. The view and grounds were amazing! Katrina was a great host and very responsive.

Visited Glasgow for a concert. The location of the apartment is incredibly close to the Hydro, with amazing value for money.

Lovely apartment with stunning sunset views on a peaceful estate. Walking to Braehead XSite and shopping is a breeze and you can walk right down the side of the Clyde. Pretty well stocked - kitchen essentials were there including a pint of milk. Jed was a great host - met us at the door and helped us get acquainted with the apartment. Balcony was a lovely asset, and the en-suite meant we didn’t have to wait to have showers. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to stay for a group of 7 including children. Aliona is a great host and proactive in reaching out as well as responding to any queries. House is at 20 min distance to Loch Lomond by car and is situated in an urban yet quiet beautiful neighborhood by the canal. Would surely recommend to stay and will be back again. 👍

Just home from a lovely family holiday. The place was great to fit us all in with plenty of space and lots to do in walking distance of the house, couldn’t be in a better locations. Made some lovely family memories to celebrate my parent 40th wedding anniversary. Colin and heather had the place decorated amazing before we got there - such a lovely touch! Thanks again! Secluded, peaceful, private property with a river at the bottom of the garden. Bright, airy, clean, well furnished accommodation. Loved the log burner. Very well attended clean hot tub. Owners were very attentive for any needs should they be required but not intrusive at all. The bedrooms were clean and well furnished with fully equipped bathrooms - upstairs and downstairs. Great towels provided. Plenty of space to have a quiet time inside or outside from the hot tub or seating area at the large table with chairs. Beautiful views of the river and fields through the French doors. Nice touch of freshly baked scones welcomed us on arrival. Unfortunately we could not spend much time enjoying the property over our 3 day stay due to our daughter’s wedding but we would definitely love to return again. A great property to spend time as a family with children as there is an outside play area for children and huge amount of board games and toys available in the house.

wonderful weekend spent here with our two young children. the private Loch area was lovely and the local village was a wonderful haggis trail which we thoroughly enjoyed! the food at the local pub is also great! the lodge was pristine and well equipped for a relaxing stay. the hit tub was immaculate although I would have preferred it a little more private. I would stay in a different lodge to resolve this in the future. it didn't impact our stay however. everyone from the lovely gentleman at reception and cleaners were extremely friendly and helpful. we couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be back!

We have a lovely stay and enjoyed the amazing views!! Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and quick to help when we needed anything. We would highly recommend! There are two small things to just be aware of in advance. 1) There are quite a few stairs getting down to the home. Just a caution for anyone with mobility impairments. 2) Selecting “get directions” through Apple Maps or Google Maps in the listing link does not take you to the correct place, nor does manually typing the address. You can get there by using the home’s coordinates or searching for Auchenheglish Mid Lodge.

We can’t say enough good about this beautiful space. The suite and grounds were Prestine. Decor is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The overall space was very comfortable for 2 couples. We will happily recommend this suite and area to all friends and family travelling to Scotland.

Janina's home was the very best Airbnb I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. It was beautifully kept both inside and out. All spaces were clean and fresh. Every room was furnished and finished to a very high standard. We were a group of 5 adults and did not feel like we were in each other's pockets for the 5 nights we were there. Plenty of space, plenty to read, plenty to see and eat in Helensburgh. I was worried about cooking on the Rayburn, but it was no trouble at all; and there is a hot plate provided if you'd rather. The kitchen had all the tools required for self catering. The host was very easy to communicate with, and after an introduction, happily left us to our stay. It was a tremendous home to stay in, I'd count myself very lucky to have the chance to do so again.

We headed to Adriana’s apartment for a week over the New Year period. The apartment is lovely, very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment is very spacious with big rooms and 3 bathrooms. Lots of space in the living area to unroll my yoga mat and look out the balcony window and straight out onto Loch Lomond and surrounding hills. Even on the dreichest of days it looked magical. The apartment is part of the Cameron House Resort. We dined in the apartment mostly but enjoyed the numerous walks around the apartment and the hotel. The Boathouse is a lovely spot for a coffee and to watch the seaplane , the annual charity waterski took place on the 1st and we enjoyed watching this , the 1st was a an unexpected spring like day. Warm, bluebird skies and sunny. Staying at the apartment allows guests to use the pool facilities at the hotel and the Carrick spa. We only used the latter. Having been lucky enough to have visited many 5* hotels with spas - I would hand on my heart put this one as my favourite. I loved it so much i used it twice a day. Once at 9am and again around 3pm. There is so much to do. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, aroma room, chill out room, thermal experience, roof top jacuzzi , infra red room, chill out zones… and on & on. Just perfect and was the highlight of the trip for me. I understand that Adriana uses these weeks usually for herself and family. We felt extremely lucky that she opened up this week and we were able to go. Will be keeping our eyes on this listing for next year !

Almudena was responsive, friendly and provided very clear instructions. The apartment is very spacious, nice and well equipped. The location in Port Glasgow with its easy parking and walking distance to a large supermarket and the train station is great for car travelers. It provides equally easy car and train access to Glasgow as well as a base for exploring the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park nearby.

The place was exactly as described, clean, secure, and set in a beautiful environment. Agam was very helpful, when I had a minor issue with one of the keys, he quickly arranged for someone to fix it and kept in touch throughout. Overall, a great stay that was well worth the money. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a home from home. Pristine condition and had everything you needed for a lovely weekend, fully equipped kitchen with great appliances, ample crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. Comfy beds with beautiful bedding. Only a 5 min walk to the train station and easy access to the motorway. Both M&S and Tesco were within walking distance to stock up on any food essentials but alternatively there were several fast food places on your doorstep. I particularly appreciated the off street parking in St Andrew’s church car park. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Lomond Castle. It had everything we needed, and was quite peaceful. It is close to one outstanding restaurant, Duck Bay Hotel. We ate there twice! To get to sights and biking trails, it was a short drive. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Nikki’s place is a perfect place for us to feel home away from home. Every details of her home let us feel very relaxed, safe & comfortable. Her kitchen is perfect for home cooked meals. All the pots & pans, utensils, condiments are ready for use. I suppose Nikki, herself, is a good cook & loves to cook. The beds, pillows & linens are clean & comfortable, just like staying in a hotel. Smart TV is available to entertain us. Toddler toys did amuse my 1.8yr old grandson who tag along. It keeps him busy. Nikki is very responsive. Any questions you want to inquire, she is ready to assist. The balcony overlooking the river is such a pleasant view to look at. In going to places, we call uber for us to move around. Sainsbury supermarket is about 10-15mins walk from the unit. Upon checking in, Nikki ask her older brother to welcome us & instruct us on how to get into her unit. We surely will come back if we will travel again to Glasgow. Thanks a lot Nikki for sharing your beautiful home.

We couldn’t have asked for a better week. Penny and Alex made for a seamless and most enjoyable trip. Any questions or information we required was answered by them or through the well laid out guest book provided in the unit. Would highly recommend this apartment for any one. There was more room and space than we even saw from the pictures and we felt right at home! We will be returning no doubt!
