Beautiful 2BR+Loft Cottage with amazing views!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The cottage sits at the highest point on the river, with a deck & fire pit overlooking the river providing a breath taking view from sunrise to sunset! Theres a cozy loft for sleeping, and a sun room where you can relax and read all day long. 1/2mile away you have access to 100s of miles of trails for hiking and ATVs. Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

The Cozy Den is the perfect place to enjoy a more peaceful, relaxing time. With it's unique log cabin design you'll feel like you've just transported yourself and your family to the good old days. Enjoy the lake located across the gravel drive from the cabin. Kids can play at the waters edge(“beach”area is tiny but keeps kids busy for hours) spot to put in rafts, kayaks & the paddle board) Plenty of bass to catch from shore too. Enjoy nighttime Bon fires and board games at night to wind down.

Take a break, unwind and enjoy all this lake has to offer. Bring your kayaks or small boats and enjoy miles of fun. Due to the dam being repaired levels are low. Photos are accurate level. If the water is not for you bring your bikes and take advantage of the low traffic roads with beautiful nature scenery. Shopping is only 11 miles away (20 mins). Beautiful cottage to stay at! My 4 teenage boys, my Dad, and myself all enjoyed it very much! The boys really liked the Recreation room and even the activities in there to bring outside and play, such as basketball and badminton. Robert and Jill were quick to respond and very friendly. The cottage was clean and had some cute little touches to welcome us. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

Needed a little getaway for my birthday and found Virginia’s place. It’s totally adorable and I love the bunkhouse for extra privacy! Beautiful place at a great price with a responsive and attentive host! Would definitely recommend especially in the summer.

This was by far one of the best Airbnbs that we’ve ever rented. Thomas and Karen were kind and excellent hosts - their response times were lightening-fast, they answered all of our questions before booking, and addressed any minor issues we had during our 2-month stay quickly. They even sent us a baby bath for our infant son! Their home is comfy, spacious, and fully-stocked with essentials, linens, DVDS, and games for a comfortable stay. The kitchen especially has everything you could possibly need! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Our dog had lots of room to run in the backyard and beyond in the lake bed. Even without the lake, the view is scenic and feels very private. Thomas and Karen were so welcoming — we highly recommend their home!
