The cottage sits at the highest point on the river, with a deck & fire pit overlooking the river providing a breath taking view from sunrise to sunset! Theres a cozy loft for sleeping, and a sun room where you can relax and read all day long. 1/2mile away you have access to 100s of miles of trails for hiking and ATVs. Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

The Cozy Den is the perfect place to enjoy a more peaceful, relaxing time. With it's unique log cabin design you'll feel like you've just transported yourself and your family to the good old days. Enjoy the lake located across the gravel drive from the cabin. Kids can play at the waters edge(“beach”area is tiny but keeps kids busy for hours) spot to put in rafts, kayaks & the paddle board) Plenty of bass to catch from shore too. Enjoy nighttime Bon fires and board games at night to wind down.

Lakeview cabin and guest house with full access to all sports Elk Lake with large space to tie off pontoon, jet skies or boat. Free access to kayak. Fire pit with beautiful view of Elk Lake. Plenty of sleeping space so this cabin is perfect for large families as well as hunting/fishing groups or girls/ boys weekends! There were 4 adults staying for Labor Day weekend. We had more than enough room for all. We have vacationed together for years. We all agreed this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. So well put together and everything you could ever need. The yard was beautiful, the deck had beautiful views of the lake. The furniture was very comfy and there was nothing more we could have wanted.

Kim and Doug’s place Was Just as Described. We felt very comfortable there and had plenty of room to spend time with our grandchildren while we were Visiting in Beaverton. They loved the loft! We would love to stay again especially after the dam is completed and the lake is back!

House was so good, had alot of things you might need throughout your stay. She was quick to respond if you messaged her about anything. The beach was very nice with some water activities as well, and the neighbors were super kind and just friendly also. We had a great stay and will be back next year.

my family and I had a very nice time at this place. the place was very clean had everything as listed. the only thing we could not get to work was the DVD player for movies but other than that we had a great time being outside enjoying both Ducks being by the water it's a wonderful place to go didn't like the neighbors were so close but it was still a great place to be and very peaceful and I would recommend anyone that's looking for a place in Gladwin to stay right there it's located next to a Dollar General which is very convenient and also a really great restaurant called Woodland restaurant
