Family cottage in quiet area

The cabin is secluded in peaceful surroundings. In the summer you can drive all the way to the cabin, in the winter when there is snow it is 100 meters to walk. Ski slopes right outside the door and sledding hill and proximity to the ski lift. There is large terrace with chairs and table and cozy barbecue area, and you will hear the sound of a small creek running by. For the kids there is a small play hut. Inside the cabin there is a large living room with a fireplace and dining area for the whole family. Lots of good sleeping places in four bedrooms.

Large resort near Lysefjorden and Preikestolen!

Welcome to idyllic Kvalvåg and our great cabin! Here the whole family can stay comfortably in a newer and spacious cabin with all amenities. Good hiking areas in the nearby area and a kurt walk down to the sea where there is a small sandy beach and jetty for fishing. There is a driveway all the way up to the cabin. 20 minutes drive away you will find Jørpeland with a good selection of shops and restaurants. Same driving distance to go to Pulpit Rock. We will do everything we can to ensure that you have a nice stay!

Great area summer and winter

Relax with your family in a cozy cabin, fireplace or fire pit/grill on the terrace. In the summer you can swim in the river close by. Easy arrival with parking as well as the door in summer and winter. Great hiking areas with opportunities for fishing,hiking and berry picking. Winter there are cross country trails at the door, alpine close by. Nice loft for the kids. Internet and TV, delicious sofa nook. Good beds with high quality..Bathroom with heating cables. The cabin is built in 2008 and situated next to Høle river, 400m from the sea. Great possibilities to go fishing, horseback riding and hiking in the mountains. Rowing boat with an engine is available (14 feet and 15 hp). Close to tourist attractions like Lysefjorden, Prekestolen ( Pulpit rock) and Kjerag. 500m from grocery store. You will find the amusement park 'Kongeparken' only 22 kilometres from the cabin. Sandnes City is a 20 minute drive.

Giljastølens beste utsiktsplass. Mange varierte fjellturer. Fiske og bade muligheter. Ski inn ski out om vinteren med Gilja Alpin 250 meter fra hytte. Etter dagens aktiviteter er det godt å synke ned i et varmt boblebad med god massasje og nyte solnedgangen eller stjerne himmelen. Det finnes også et badstu i hytten. Gode solforhold rundt hytte fra morning til kvelds om sommeren. Slapp av med venner og familie i dette fantastiske ferie hjemmet.

Incredibly „koselig” cottage. Spacious living room connected with well equipped kitchen. And the view on the fjords through the enormous windows is so stunning, that you can just sit and watch forever… by the way - the same view is from one of the bedrooms. The place is well equipped, family friendly, with fresh salad in the garden and fish waiting to be picked and grilled. I highly recommend it!

Had a great week's vacation. Extremely note from Norway and the cottage. During the stay, there was nice and easy contact with Thomas. Around the house (outside) it was a bit messy and there were a lot of children's toys. There was still enough room to sit down and enjoy. The cottage was on a big slope, once climbed you have an oasis of peace. Very much enjoyed!

Dream cabin for those who have children, both big children and small children had a great time with the playground, trompeline, and not least the hot tub🙏. Reccommended highly. We will probably come back to that cabin. The Yamen was quick to respond and very helpful😊.

what a great cottage! We were 4 of us and this was our starting point to various hiking trails and to Stavanger, we could swim and use the kayak and boat, in the cottage everything we needed was present. I had made a mistake with the arrival day, fortunately Silje was very flexible and we could get in earlier. I would definitely recommend this cottage to other people!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy secluded cabin, which looks even nicer than on the photos! The surrounding is beautiful, one feels immersed in nature and Gottfried is a lovely and helpful host, that made us feel at home right away. The house is really well equipped, Gottfried made sure we had plenty of drinking water since the river didnt have enough water due to lack of rain. We wished we could have stayed longer, thanks for everything!!

Helene’s cabin was awesome, super cozy and pretty, very clean; it was all that we needed! Mind that there’s no bedsheets and towels and you need to bring your own, which I almost overlooked (my bad ofc, just wish it was highlighted more in the description!), but nevertheless, we managed and had a great stay. Helene was responsive, helpful and left us a note with recommendations, which was supernice :)

We loved our stay at the cabin. The house, view and garden was beautiful. The place had everything we needed for vacation with children as well. The host was super nice to communicate with, and wrote proactively to ask questions to help with our stay, before our arrival. We will definitely consider coming back!
