Cozy wood cabin in the forest with amazing view!

This place is called ‘forest escape’ and it is exactly that: a beautiful and modern cabin in the middle of the woods. Handmade by the very friendly owners. There is a large home around 30 meters from the cabin, where you can cook and sit, have a hot shower or watch tv. There is also a really good coffee machine with free coffee the whole day! The cabin is private with a view on the woods, and there is a fire place outside and even an outdoor shower. The interior is so nicely decorated with sheep skin and a fireplace, really fits this place. In the main house is a mini shop so you can even take some handmade wooden souvenirs home. Maria, the host, gave us good tips to go and see in the area and she can be reached when you have questions or wishes. Dogs are welcome but not in the service house, in consideration of other guests. We’ve experienced that dogs aren’t allowed in shops or cafes in Torsby. Källberg Forest Escape is a fantastic place for nature lovers! 🌲

Not much to say other than it was a great stay in great surroundings and Langlia did not disappoint. We felt at home from the moment we opened the door and sad the moment we left. Staffan was there virtually when we needed him and you can feel that he cares in all the instructions prior, upon arrival and during stay. Pleasure!

The apartment was just perfect! Very modern, stylishly decorated in Scandinavian design, and absolutely clean. The central location was ideal for exploring Oslo – many sights, restaurants, and shops were within easy walking distance. I felt at home from the very first moment and would definitely come back. Really liked the view west for sunsets, as up near the top of the hill. Less than 100m to the XC ski pistes. Only 5 minutes in the car to centre of Sjusjoen. Very convenient. Thank you.

Great cozy accommodation with wonderful views, close to ski tracks, fully equipped home. Great with hooks and clothes hangers in the rooms. Helpful and nice host, highly recommend this home.

Ski-in/out cabin for families

Nice place, plenty of space for 7 adults. well stocked kitchen and nice sauna. Very easy for beginner's to ski in and ski out. You have to cross two roads to do so but this seems unavoidable for the majority of places in the area. Directions for the turnoff could be better. Took us a while to figure out but we did so eventually, you have to take slope 13 and turned off from there to ski home, but a map with the listing would be appreciated. Likewise if the directions to ski out were provided that would be great.
