The place is great. The breakfast stuff provided was excellent and the kitchenette is surprisingly complete - the microwave looking thing in the photos is a little oven with elements on top. (There is also a microwave). The location is gorgeous and Sarah is friendly and responsive. Worth every penny.

This is a cosy and homely bed-and-breakfast-type residence in a quiet suburban corner of Gisborne, about 5 minutes from the city centre. It’s a perfect home-away-from-home for the solo traveller and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Air BnB is part of the family house, but has a private entrance and is self-contained with a separate bathroom and shower, plus a kitchenette stocked with breakfast essentials. The main room features a comfortable king-sized bed looking out through a bay window over a beautiful front garden. Nadine, the proprietor, was responsive and keen to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. A lovely stopover in Gisborne and the perfect place to rest and recover.

We had a great stay at Janine’s place! The location is perfect—really close to everything like shops, restaurants, and beaches. It made getting around so easy. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Janine was also super friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend her place and would love to stay again! The homemade muesli and slice is so yum!
