Villa vacation rentals in Giglio Castello

Mauro was very responsive. Check in instructions were good, the apartment was easy to find and it was great to have a big drive to park in. The apartment is spacious, clean and looks newly decorated and the view is lovely - we loved the early mornings out on the terrace. The apartment is well-equipped and the kitchen is very well stocked. With just a couple of small improvements, it could be 5 star - more than one pillow per head, sun loungers or a sofa on the terrace, a working parasol and a tidier garden. But overall we had a good stay. It should be noted that the apartment isn’t in Porto San Stefano but a short drive outside it and access to the beach (pictured) is not for the faint hearted - there’s no pavement and the road’s quite busy. Our dog wouldn’t have been able to manage the steps down to the underpass, nor would anyone with mobility issues or push chairs.

Claudia's stay was fantastic, the apartment internally is very spacious and stylishly furnished, very clean, live is even better than the photos, in front it has a nice garden to eat and an adjacent park with ping pong table and foosball table, possibility to access the pool. The surroundings are wonderful and of unspoiled nature, the main attractions of the Maremma are within walking distance. The host was very present, friendly and made our stay very pleasant. In short, if you are looking for relaxation, nature and a good starting point to get to know the Maremma is the right place. We'll definitely be back!

The house is enough for five people at most. It is functionally to nicely decorated. Some things are outdated, but it doesn't really bother you. It is rather cool in the house (mid to late April), but there is an oven with pellets that can be turned on at any time. It is very cozy :-) We also enjoyed the garden and sometimes ate outside or occupied the deck chairs. What was great: Lucia always responded immediately when there were questions, even before the start of the trip. She was also on site when we arrived and showed us everything... very friendly! We had a nice vacation - thanks so much!

The accommodation is in a priceless area for beauty, nature, sea. The villa is easily accessible, well fenced (except for the terrace of the master bedroom, I say it for those who, like me, have dogs) and with a beautiful view. The only small downside, on the hottest days there was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms (a penguin would be enough) but this did not affect our judgment, which remains more than positive. Federico was very kind and helpful, we did not meet in person but he always responded quickly to my questions. Maybe we'll meet in person next year!

Very kind and helpful staff, they even contacted us the day before because there was access to the house earlier than expected, we were accompanied to the accommodation and they explained everything there was to know. Top-notch kindness and availability.

Beautiful house, surrounded by private greenery that offers all the necessary privacy. Arranged on multiple levels with 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that surround the independence of all guests. The terrace of the living room where we had lunch or dinner offers a breathtaking view that collects the beauty of the port with all the colors of the island. In the morning we had breakfast in the kitchen patio surrounded by the villa's garden. A way to start the day that you absolutely must try. The first beaches can be reached in a 5-minute walk from a practically private road that leads directly to the port. A very useful way to forget about the car. In the afternoon, back from the sea or the boat, we relax by playing in the pool looking at the sea. Wow! The kids had the best time! Great homeowners who have always been available and super responsive. If we go back to the island, we'll definitely come back here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Super stay. The villa is very nice, cozy, surrounded by greenery and with a beautiful surrounding view. Quiet, equipped with all the necessary comforts. The owners are exquisite, friendly and helpful people. We highly recommend this location for those who want to relax and spend moments with friends and family!

We had a wonderful stay here, the photos do not do it’s justice. We were a family of 8 w a baby and everyone found it very comfortable. The views are amazing and it truly feels like you’re staying in a relatives home. Very homey feel with lots of bathrooms and the kitchen is just amazing. You’ll need a car to access the town where we rented a boat and used the local market to make dinner at home. The beach club also has a great restaurant. We will def be back.

The terrace and view are truly magnificent. The house is lovely, featuring a main floor with a living room, an open kitchen, a toilet, and a small bedroom for one person. On the second floor, there are three bedrooms (one of which is a small room for one person), a bathroom with a bathtub, and another bathroom with a shower. Only two of the second-floor bedrooms have air conditioning. Additionally, there is a laundry room and a separate garage. We didn’t use the garage, as street parking is usually available. The garage opens onto a busy street, making parking challenging, and the garage access involves climbing a spiral staircase, which is not ideal for carrying luggage or shopping. The beach is about a 15-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away. The place is beautiful, the host is very responsive, and I highly recommend it.

Cala Moresca is a beautiful area if you are looking for amazing views with peace and quiet away from the daily hubbub of life. The villa is just about perfect and feels very much like a home you'd want to spend time in, it's perfectly rustic and packed with pretty much everything you would need, be it cooking, cleaning, relaxing and enjoying a wonderful holiday. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with an unexpected welcome pack of food and drink, such a nice touch. They even had a Nespresso coffee maker with pods which (for us) was a real gem. The views and sunsets are amazing, but also a gentle breeze that helps take the edge off a hot sunny day, at night the temperature is perfect for eating outside and it never feels uncomfortable. The photos of the pool do not do it justice, it is much larger in real life and even though it is shared with a couple of other villas it remains a very relaxing area. Finally, lovely hosts, and we all loved it.

With colleagues we chose to spend a few days in this house to do Smart working. We had a great time, the place has everything you need to spend time with friends, we also had a nice barbecue! The rooms are comfortable and equipped, the kitchen has everything you need and even more. The location is very convenient to Capalbio and nature has given us spectacular sunsets relaxed by the pool. Communication with the host was excellent, kind and really pleasant! Highly recommended

Great location in a more or less private bay (belongs to the Club Hotel Cala Piccola, entrance with chip/card) Super nice view, super nice garden, use of the loungers down by the sea from the club, beach bar, all in all just great The only disadvantage is that you are at the end of the peninsula, which is very hilly and steep, i.e. without a car it is rather difficult, since shopping, cafes, bars are only down in Porto St. Stefano is about 10 km away, but that has nothing to do with the wonderfully located beautiful house in the fantastic bay. If you arrive by car, everything is no problem. All in all, a beautiful house in an insanely beautiful area with fantastic panorama, also St. Stefano and Agentario harbor are great with great restaurants and bars as you would like on vacation!! The price is justified because you are really in a private environment with a fantastic garden and private path to the beach/bay/club 5 out of 5 stars from me

This property is truly one of a kind - the view is absolutely spectacular, the photos don't do it justice! We loved watching the sunset every evening from the patio. The property feels isolated and quiet, yet is a short drive to beaches, supermarkets, and multiple towns nearby. The house is quite spacious with plenty of room for a group or family. Alison was very pleasant to communicate with and very responsive (and patient!) to all of our questions. Access to the beach club is a very special extra 'bonus' - crystal clear water for a refreshing swim and a delicious restaurant for lunch. Highly recommend! The trade-off for the outstanding view is a drive up a steep, narrow driveway, so I would recommend as small a car as possible (generally a good idea when visiting towns in this region anyway!). We struggled to navigate it the first few times, but then it was fine.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and wonderful swimming pool. The friendly cats were a big hit with our children and put a smile on all our faces when they greeted us outside!

A beautiful little house with a fantastic view of the sea. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are small but nicely furnished and you have everything you need. The terrace is very large with plenty of seating and beautiful tables. From there you have a wonderful view of the sea. The area consists of a few other vacation homes and is very quiet. There is a swimming pool that you can use and at the end of a long staircase an access to the sea (no beach but rocky but still great for swimming). Around the cottage is a small garden and many beautiful trees. Giovanni's father Eduardo welcomed us, showed us everything and was very friendly. If we had a question, we got an answer quickly. For shopping, you drive about 10-15 minutes by car to the next town. In summary: a very nice quiet place with perfect views with friendly people. We will be happy to come back.

Casa Moorehead was an absolute gem and a true highlight of our holiday. Built in the 1960s, it now boasts a mature terraced garden filled with shaded spots, perfect for relaxation. The house's location at Bocca d’Oro made it ideal for our multi-family getaway. The well-maintained pool and expansive garden kept both kids and adults entertained. Special thanks to Luigi, the friendly gardener, and Lourdes, the wonderful cleaner, for making our stay extra comfortable. The Moorehead family ensured that everything was seamless. Casa Moorehead is truly a special find! We'll be back!

Our 15-person crew spent 5 nights in the villa. The stay matched the photos, and the kitchen was even surprisingly large. Two separate rooms with their own exterior doors were a great addition to the place. Very good stay, we recommend!

We stayed at Laura's villa for 9 nights and had a relaxed time. The house is very spacious, clean, well decorated and had everything you needed. The view and the pool are sensational. The air conditioners worked very well - which was really very necessary in the heat (over 30 degrees). The journey worked well thanks to Boris - the "caretaker" who was always there for us with questions and helpful tips. Laura had also given us good tips (restaurants, etc.) in advance and was a friendly charming contact! The only thing that was a bit inconvenient: our VW Sharan had 4 people having trouble taking the last turn from the last steep road to the parking lot. We ladies always got out before then; then it was no problem.

In one word: perfect. The house and gatdens are most beautiful. Very very clean and has everythin one my think of or drram of. Most private and in a short way to grossotto. Superb vacation for a family. Hope to be there again shortly.
