Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Gifu

We really enjoyed the house itself, as it was so very comfortable and perfectly located, but also the local restaurants. There is a great yakitori place called Iburu very close to the house, which I highly recommend. It was a little pricey but some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever tasted. Also, a new coffee shop called Pinecone was a really nice discovery. They don’t open till noon, but the young owner is a fluent English speaker who loves to chat with the customers. He also sells a selection of craft beers (in cans) from around Japan. We bought those to take home and enjoyed drinking them at the house in the evening. A lovely 125 year old Japanese sweet shop is close by, too. And the hot springs! Finally, on our way home back to Shiga, we stopped at a little place called Ippei Sushi. The best sushi I’ve ever had. ¥2,200 for a lunch set fit for a king. You should get there before 11! All in all it was a spectacular holiday. We look forward to going again next year.

We had a great stay for 2 nights. We could access the room 3 hours before and received a wonderful apple tart as welcoming present. The host were very nice and pleasant and did their best to make our stay as great as possible. We even received help to rent a car and received great visiting tips. We highly recommend this place. We had 2 nights, dining in the place, feeling entirely at home in this wooden and warm environment. Surely our best place during our vacation in Japan.

We had a wonderful stay at Takashi's place and highly recommend it to you. It had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Takashi was responsive and helpful. The electric bikes were fantastic for our ride to and from Ghibli Park. I couldn't be happier with our stay.

This is a lovely traditional home in a small, quiet town, attractive to stroll around and admire. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked for a night or two with friends and/or family. It suited our group of five adults and two 12-year-olds extremely well. The fact that it has so many bedrooms is a significant advantage for groups that don't all want to share the same sleeping space, as is often the case at Japanese Airbnbs. The friendly hosts were waiting for us at check-in and gave us an extremely detailed tour and explanation of the property. There are not many services within walking distance, so we were glad we rented a car. We cooked dinner and breakfast, and found many useful condiments and spices in the kitchen. Really, the only disadvantage of this home is that it is rather expensive, but the experience of staying there is unique, making it worth the cost. Airbnb prices in general seem to be rising, so it is not dissimilar to others like it.

Love the location, the fireplace, the spaciousness, the outdoor garden and the beautiful shrine next to the house. The 2 slopes up to the house and the stairs are pretty steep especially with luggage but this was communicated in the description so as expected. We made some really delicious meals in the house by buying Hida beef and other groceries from Boss Foods Market. Aki was also so friendly and accommodating! Thanks for the great stay!

The best airbnb I have ever stayed in. We arrived at the Lounge for check-in and was greeted by the friendly staff and offered yummy snacks. The staff then drove us to the house and provided a thorough rundown of everything. We also tried out the spa services, paired with the bath and sauna inside the house made the most perfect and relaxing night. Such a convenient location where everything was in walkable distance.

Very friendly host! Super responsive and gave local recommendations. The stay is also quite good - the living room is really cute. Only issue was the bathroom door downstairs is a little broken because the door knob wasn’t functioning and you could lock ourselves out. But Mickey was super helpful and we got it resolved.
