Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The tent and the place is exactly as described. We were the first guests of the 2025 season and were the only ones for the weekend in the entire campus! Don and his wife greeted us very warmly and are amazing hosts. You can tell that they've put a lot of thought in the details of this place. Don patiently showed us around the campus and provided us with all the instructions and tips. The tent was perfect! It rained one night and was windy the other night, but the interior was comfortable on both occasions. Don gave us some wood for the first night and extra blankets which we really appreciated. We also checked-out some games from the main office. Waking up to the sounds of the amazing diversity of birds here was a bonus. We will surely visit again, perhaps with a bigger crew.

it was perfect very homey the softest housecoat and everything was there in the kitchen and the bathrooms very accommodating I really like the open concept the island counter made it perfect to gather around and cook and laugh and have a great time and then when you look outside you see the beautiful Lake and scenery I definitely go again

We had an amazing stay here. I had a late check in but Barbara was very communicative and flexible and gave very easy and clear instructions on how to get there and how to find our cabin. The chain itself was very clean, organized and everything was working perfectly. Would definitely come back again.
A vibrant turquoise body of water is set against a rugged rocky coastline, with greenery from tall trees climbing the cliffs. The clear sky complements the sparkling waves, creating a tranquil atmosphere along the shoreline.

The cottage was beautiful and has a great set up for whatever you have planned! Deck was perfect, and firepit was the best spot on the property, perfectly secluded to hang out and have a great bonfire!! just make sure you have bug spray, it is Tobermory and has alot of foliage around so make sure you are prepared! Had a phenomenal weekend would gladly go back if we're in the area again!

Great getaway for my family. It was very peaceful and we were able to relax and unwind immediately. The hot tub was clean and was working well. the kitchen had all the utensils and cookware we needed. The cottage was on a beautiful part of 12 mile bay. It was exactly what we needed.

My wife and I wanted to get away for a couple of days, and chose to stay at this BnB. We absolutely loved it. Great if you are looking to get away from it all while also still close to amenities. Rustic, in the bush, and access to the Spanish River for a great late-night dip. Would and will stay again.

Cozy cottage on private Island with great fishing!

We had never been to this area of Ontario before and always wanted to. Finding this location on the Bay met our requirements for cozy, rugged beautiful surroundings and some fishing. This location is a must visit if you are wanting a peaceful time away. Word of caution, if you are trying to get here on your own an electronic navigation device with charts is a must. I used my phone and the navionics app and we also had a good device on the boat so it was a breeze for us getting in and finding the island even with some misty rain on the way in. Sitting on the west side of the island looking down into west bay at the sunset with a drink was a highlight. Also catching a 20 pound pike was another highlight. Really appreciate this place meeting expectations. Plan on returning next fall for a similar adventure.

Absolutely Unforgettable Stay! Jessica and Brandon were truly exceptional hosts so kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely taken care of. The property itself was beyond our expectations ,peaceful, private, and perfectly nestled by a serene lake. We loved having access to kayaks and a small boat for relaxing lake rides it made the experience even more magical. Whether you’re planning a quiet family getaway or a small celebration like a birthday, this place is an ideal choice. The atmosphere was generous and inviting, and you can truly feel the care the hosts put into every detail. If you’re visiting Española, do yourself a favor and book this Airbnb. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place to remember. Highly recommended!
