This cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat, where every detail is thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and relaxation. We had an unforgettable family experience, enjoying the serene beauty of the lake right from the private dock. The hot tub provided a soothing escape, and evenings by the fire pit, complete with provided firewood, created cherished memories.​ As a delightful courtesy, we were able to prepare delicious waffles for breakfast, adding a special touch to our mornings. Thank you for the coffee, softdrinks and snacks also. I highly recommend this place; the host is always attentive and ready to assist with anything you might need. It's an exceptional spot for a peaceful and memorable getaway.​

Peter's place was perfect for our three nights on Galiano with our dogs. The house was comfortable and the view was exceptional! We had perfect weather to enjoy the patio and veranda, and it was a great base from which to explore the island. The location on Montague Harbour provided ready access to the Provincial park and we also travelled to several other locations for hikes and beach adventures. Larry welcomed us when we arrived and was available to answer questions as needed. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Galiano.

We always enjoy staying at Shannon's as her place feels like home to us. Shannon is friendly, prompt in her communication and her place is supplied with everything for a comfortable family stay. We always look forward to her generous and thoughtful breakfast basket! The short walk to the beach is a special part of our vacation too. Thank you, Shannon, for being a valued host.

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

Had an incredible weekend at the Boathouse. We booked the space impulsively, intrigued by the unique location and it exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully decorated with the interesting history of the area thoughtfully displayed. We initially had reservations about the level of privacy given that its located by an active marina but the space was thoroughly tucked away. Walking on the small beach below and along the path above, views into the Boathouse were obscured by the greenery and well-thought location of the windows. The private deck facing the water was a sanctuary - we spent a lot of time just sitting and watching the water, cooked dinner on the BBQ, ate meals outside and even used the space for some morning yoga. We fell in love with the surrounding neighborhood, taking many walks around ans dream of living there ourselves one day. James/John were quick to respond to our messages and were incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm already thinking of when I can return.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place! The location was incredibly peaceful, tucked right next to the water — the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend getaway. It was also very dog-friendly, which made it even more special for us. Everything was exactly as described, and Sarah was a great host, making the whole experience easy and welcoming. We’d happily come back again!

Nice apartment that suited me and my partner very well for our week in Vancouver. Location was really good for us, in between the UBC campus and the city - and just a block away from a 24/7 bakery which came in clutch with the jet lag!

This won’t be surprising because it’s been said in every review. This place is amazing. To have an acre and a half of private, oceanfront property is rare. We loved everything. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the waves come in was sublime. Corinne is for sure the quickest, friendliest, most generous host I’ve encountered through Airbnb. Bathrooms had great water pressure. When we had a little downtime, the TV was big and fantastic. The hikes around the area are just top notch. What people haven’t mentioned though is Corinne doesn’t have a lengthy ‘clean to do list’ for when you leave. I also think people are walking away from Airbnb’s due to price gouging. This place is crazy reasonable and I will come again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Bonnie’s place was great, it was clean, quiet and comfortable! The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the kitchen was very well stocked! Bonnie was friendly and communicative and ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would stay again.

We had a really great time at this very comfortable townhouse! Derek was a very responsive host and was incredibly accommodating of us traveling with a baby. Would definitely stay here again!

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Place is stunning and the view is the best. I think of the properties I’ve stayed in this unit was the best appointed meaning just filled with tasteful stuff you may need to enjoy the place and surroundings. Also, Margaret clearly knows how to design. You won’t be disappointed - you’ll feel they’ve outdone themselves. Stay here.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!

The Nook at Nanoose Bay is a wonderful getaway in a gorgeous area. The room is clean and well-maintained, we particularly enjoyed the patio looking out towards the water, and the jacuzzi tub. The amenities at the resort itself are a great addition, with a great restaurant, pool, and outdoor hot tub, as well as a lovely beach walk. The property is in a wonderful location, with tons of restaurants, markets, trails and more within 15-20 minutes. We loved our stay, and will likely be back again in the future!

We travelled to Vancouver Island over Easter week for a family getaway. Deanna’s Good Life House was the perfect place for us. We had two couples, my 14 months old grandbaby and me. The baby equipment was much appreciated as it saved us having to haul extras on the plane. We used Shawnigan Lake as our home base for the week as we explored parts of Vancouver Island. We also enjoyed the pickleball courts, beach, pitch and putt, playground and kayaks at the resort. This is a lovely part of the island and is a peaceful and relaxing location. Thank you Deanna for being such a helpful and responsive host!

We had a wonderful stay! Had everything we were looking for -- waterfront location and set up well for children. The location and windows looking out onto the bay, islands, Straight of Georgia and across to Mt. Baker were what we loved most. Saw a lot of wildlife. Steps down to the water were nice too. House was otherwise set up well and as described. Highly recommend this location.

Christina was a gracious host! The house was exactly as described and the scenery was absolutely stunning. We plan on coming back that's for sure Clean bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. Couldn't have asked for a better place to experience Clallum bay and call home base.

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! Gary's place was absolutely gorgeous. The waterfront suite is private, with a stunning view of the water. Gary and his wife were absolutely charming hosts, the kind of people you would like to invite to dinner. The breakfasts were outstanding. Especially the lattes, omelettes and the Australian scones. The master bedroom was massive with an incredible view. The bathroom was deluxe. The whole suite was extremely clean, and we really loved using the kayaks to paddle around and then jump in the hot tub. They also have a fantastic outdoor shower and sauna. We also loved biking around the Island, visiting the Saturday market and we appreciated being close enough to walk into Ganges - which we did for a night to dine at Feast, also recommended. Overall, a very magical weekend.

Beautiful quiet home. Big sunny deck lots of chairs and space for all 6 of us. Enjoyed the bbq. Private beach access. Modern clean cabin. Very comfy beds. Kids loved the bunk beds. Awesome to have access to a washer and dryer. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It’s bigger than the pictures show. Would love to come back. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John's place. The location is close to groceries and shops, but remote enough to be a hideaway in the forest. We enjoyed the private patio and modern appliances. The location is right next to the beach, making evening walks along the ocean a convenient option. We were also very grateful to John for letting us borrow his kayaks for a little paddle around the bay where we saw flocks of Arctic turns and several seals. We would highly recommend John's place.
