Vacation rentals with lake access in Gennes-Val-de-Loire

A peaceful oasis to really unwind. The accommodation is in a great location, surrounded by nature while being close to nearby services by car. The house is very quiet, very well-equipped and comfortable. We had a very nice week, we recommend +++.

We really enjoyed the place and we felt very comfortable there. The rooms are spacious and bright, the amenities are new, practical and numerous, the bedding is very comfortable, with the bonus of a welcoming entrance area including a cloakroom and a foosball table. The view is exceptional and we appreciate it all the more because the living rooms overlook the Loire. Despite the proximity to the road, the accommodation is very quiet and has a very authentic character. For tall people, the attic spaces are sometimes a bit low, but they have a crazy charm - and one of the rooms that has a higher ceiling suited them perfectly. Anaïs was a very attentive and responsive host, which helped make our stay an experience we will remember for a long time.

Melissa's house is very well decorated with all the necessities needed. Very quiet and in the greenery it is perfect for a stay on the banks of the Loire (bike, walk and 14 minutes from Angers by car). Melissa was not there but was very responsive. We recommend

Anne and her husband restored this old building with great taste and character. A little gem! 30 minutes from the Puy du Fou or the gifted fountain , the location is ideal for those who want to treat themselves while being autonomous and quiet. Don't hesitate!

We are delighted with our short stay at l'Oumois. Very friendly hosts. The place is very preserved and quiet. The kids loved the trampoline, ping pong and pompom and chouquette of course.

Beautiful accommodation in the heart of the vineyards, very well decorated with all the essentials available.

Upon arrival: wow! What details and care provided for our arrival, it was perfect. Everything you need to kick off our vacation: small and personalized welcome sheet on the door, small bouquets of garden flowers on the 2 outdoor tables, soft music in the accommodation, everything you need to get started (toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher tablet, beds made, coffee and teas...)... Everything was even better than the description. The cottage is sublime, the bedding is just perfect, the green spaces all around are magical, the hosts are very welcoming (including their children with our son who is still younger)... What else I don't know. The area is quite touristy but while keeping the warm side of the countryside. This is an address we keep, and will recommend. Thanks!

Very clean, spacious, bright and quiet apartment. Beautiful walks to take all around, shops accessible in 15 minutes' walk, otherwise the bus stop is right next door. I would like to point out that I was the only one using the accommodation and that I found everything that was important to me.

Very good week in Carole's studio. Although it is part of his house, it is independent and well insulated. I did not meet Carole but the exchanges were very cordial and friendly.

Bruno and his wife were very welcoming. We were looking for a place for a nature and rest stay, the Clos du Marais met all these requests.

Check-in and checkout via the 'Lookbox', Nelly was very accommodating for the check-in and checkout times. Very discreet people and responsive to the slightest request. 8-day stay spent in an excellent way, thanks to this accommodation very close to my seminar location (600 m!) and the studio is very well arranged, nothing is missing, many unsuspected storage possibilities, suspension rods and coat racks everywhere - but no hangers, I had my own! - thoughtful decoration, adapted to the exposed beams of this very large room under the roofs, ventilated by 2 skylights (and windows). Plus, a private space on the ground floor to drop off bulky luggage. Very good bed with comfortable bedding. I will definitely be coming back again.

A small, very well located accommodation, ideal for a couple, quiet and next to the Loire River. Excellent quality bedding (width 1.60), everything is clean and functional. Beautiful Loire region and wines!

We had a lovely stay in Corinne's cottage. It is is in a very quiet street but within easy reach of the river Loire. Everything we needed had been provided. We appreciated the bottle of wine in the fridge too! The garden and terraced area were a real bonus as the weather was warm enough to eat outside. Although not in residence nearby, Corinne was easy to reach by email and very quick to respond. The phone call to check that we had settled in was a nice touch. The area is lovely with plenty of historical places to visit nearby. We would recommend a holiday here.

We had such a lovely week at this beautiful cottage! A stunning location, on the edge of this peaceful and pretty village, with the river over the road. We have two young boys, and were grateful for the enclosed garden where they could play safely and within view (the garden was looking particularly beautiful with all the Springtime blossom) The kitchen and cottage were well equipped, the beds were super comfortable, and bedrooms cosy and warm. Olivier is extremely warm, helpful and responsive. We brought our bikes with us and cycled along the river to the boulangerie in Monsoreau every morning, though you could also walk it. There are two great bars just over the road and a pizza van every few nights. We explored the area by bike and by car, and everywhere we went was stunning. Highlight trips of our week: the cycle route to Chinon, Chinon itself including the remarkable Fortress (our boys loved it), Chateau de Villandry and the forest adventure park at Saumur. Would recommend!
