Vacation rentals in Gello Biscardo

This was a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Everything is peaceful and easy. From the welcome from Elisa to departure we felt looked after. Our apartment/house was beautiful. Everything is done tastefully and well looked after. The breakfast was good and the dinners in the restaurant were superb. On the evenings that the restaurant is closed (Tues and Weds) Elisa provided excellent recommendations within a 10-15 min drive. The swimming pool is amazing, peaceful and refreshing and long enough to swim properly. You can take nice walks in the morning before it's too warm and you can just rest by the pool or explore nearby. Gello Biscardo for us was a place to rest and recover while feeling safe that the hosts were always easily available to help if needed. We're really grateful for the rest and relaxation surrounded by beauty.

When you think of a quiet, beautiful place to rest and with all the amenities… this place fits perfectly!! Great breakfasts and everything homemade!! Finally, I'd like to highlight their kindness and know-how… a 10!!

We had a wonderful stay in Viciomaggio. The apartment is very clean, spacious and exudes a great charm (restored oil mill). Antique furnishings are combined with modern amenities (kitchen, bathroom). Communication with Giovanni was friendly and straightforward via chat. A private parking space is located right at the apartment. The apartment offers a very good base for exploring Tuscany. We enjoyed Florence, Arezzo and Val d'Orcia very much. We recommend staying at the apartment and would come back any time! :)

We cannot say enough about how fantastic our stay was. Maybe the most gorgeous property we’ve ever seen - even better than the pictures! Pia was incredibly helpful, sent us a whole printout of recommendations for different restaurants, wineries, and things to do. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and proactive - she thought of everything you may need during your stay and gave us a tour of our home. Waking up in the Tuscan countryside and watching the sun rise over the vineyards was relaxing and beautiful. The sunsets were breathtaking to see over the rolling hills in Chianti. Castellina was a cute little town with fantastic places to eat and panoramic views of the valley. And on top of all that, we made a new friend in the Public Relations Manager, Teo - you can be sure you’ll be greeted with a wagging tail and a happy little smile. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Beautiful, peaceful stay. Amazing, secluded location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - made us feel right at home. Lots of great walks around, including the nearby winery. The only downside is it does get rather cold in the stone apartment but during warmer weather the coolness in the apartment would probably be perfect. They provided a portable heater & a hot water bottle though which was nice. Thank you Tebea for being such a lovely host!

Podere le Corticelle exceeded every expectation we had — and then some! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, offering thoughtful recommendations and making sure every detail of our stay was just right. The house itself is immaculate — spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and filled with charming touches that reflect the Tuscan countryside. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, from the cozy linens to the spacious layout that gave us plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every corner of the home felt intentional and inviting. We especially loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings. It truly felt like a retreat. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing, and comfortable escape in Tuscany with a host who truly cares, Podere le Corticelle is the place. We can’t wait to return.

The place was absolutely perfect for us, a beautiful house and a house with soul. Very nice terrace (very nice with the small pool on hot days) and garden, cozy living rooms. We felt at home from the first day. The house is located in a nice old town, with a short distance to many great Italian cities, and to many good restaurants, but you are completely dependent on a car. We also found great opportunities for hiking. Manuela and Massimo were very helpful and nice, gave us daily tips on things to do and places to visit, and were very flexible when we had visitors from Norway. Manuela came by with cakes and wine, and had made delicious food for us when we arrived, since all the shops were closed at Easter. We enjoyed Laterina and the house very much, and will be happy to come back.
