Monthly Rentals in Gavazi

It is a lovely, old house in the village, the owners live downstairs, the kitchen is shared with the owners. It is easy to visit Kachetia from the house of Maja and Paata. If you wish they will cook for you a real Georgian breakfast or lunch or dinner. We received as well a lot of extras like fruit from the garden or cold coffee. Despite from our poor Russian we had lovely conversations and felt very welcome. Great place to get to know Georgian hospitality. This is a place for you if you want relax and peace.

The house is in a private unit at Tina's house (hosts mother) . You have good privacy, and Tina is amazing. really amazing person and host. The garden is absolutely wonderful, you can spot a new flower coming to life everyday. Tina was kind enough to treat us with lovely "pancakes" and tasty home made jam on our first morning. She also was kind enough to help us find local amazing places, like a crazy good khinkali or home made dairy products. The only thing I would say can get better, is that the bed mattress is a bit old and soft, So if you have back issues, you can use the other sofa bed, that is in very good condition. Vera and Timur are the coolest and beautiful people, with a beautiful home and huge hearts. It was a privilege to stay here as a guest. I came as a solo traveller and they were so hospitable and made sure I was fed and got to try many things that my hands would not even touch at any convenience store. Yummy, healthy and delicious food - do not make me mention the wine!!! 😍😏 it all came to a reasonable cost and the hosts were so helpful in arranging taxis for the day for me for local wine tasting. I enjoyed taking a break from the city & becoming a fairy and learning from the hosts what to forage and make all sorts of things from scratch. The itself space is comfortable, COOL, arty & considered, and you can really tell it has been designed for the guest and their comfort. I joked that I would take the pillows with me and now regretting not doing this, as i write from my new airbnb location. Beautiful garden, views and animals!!!!! I hope to return.
