Meredith’s place has everything you need for your stay. The location is excellent, the view is pretty and there are lovely sunsets. Duck has a boardwalk where you can walk along by the Sound and plenty of interesting shops. All the restaurants we tried close by were good. We didn’t use all the amenities as we visited out of season but there’s a lot for just about anyone to enjoy during their stay. The only downside to our stay - and not Meredith’s fault - was an unusual giant cloud of midges which settled outside the house so we had to run the gauntlet through them! They don’t bite or anything, just annoying and we heard from locals it was an unusually large number. Hopefully they’ll be gone for the next visitors! If asked, we would definitely recommend Meredith’s home. It’s a really lovely place.

Frank and Martha’s place is super cute. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house has lots of open space and is a short drive to all the essentials. Frank’s and Martha were very communicative and accommodating leading up to my stay. Highly recommend!

This is a peaceful and private gem. Good spot if you want to spend the day in OBX and come back to a quiet place in a nice neighborhood. The loft is not huge but every detail is planned so well that it ends up feeling much bigger. I loved how modern and updated everything was. Because the bunk beds don’t have a fully enclosed space, bring a noise machine if you want to create an added “sound barrier” between the bunk beds nook and the living room, if you plan to be up and watching TV etc after your kids go to sleep. I used a noise machine app on my phone that worked well. We really enjoyed our time here!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The beach is minutes away and there are tons of restaurants and other things to do. The place was immaculate and we had plenty of space to relax. The neighborhood has a good vibe and is active and alive. We would definitely stay here again.

Had an absolute blast. Location was great and she was very easy to communicate with. Was so nice to have all the beach necessities. Looking forward to going back especially with the pools open up.

The home was very clean, organized, spacious enough for two. We enjoyed our stay and the communication was very thorough and proactive.

We had a very relaxing stay at this home! It was charmingly decorated and had enough space for 4 of us to spread out. Communication was clear and the hosts were responsive. The home was well located, convenient to quite a few restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

location, location, location!!! if you're looking for a place that's steps away from the beach and has an awesome view, look no further! this is what you want/need for a getaway! I enjoyed myself and will revisit!!

David was a wonderful host. He gave us local recommendations and provided personal experiences with them making us feel at home. The space was clean and exactly what we needed for our family. The hot tub in the garage was a great addition and my kids were obsessed. It was nice to have everything we needed right on hand and to have David available anytime we needed help. We can’t wait to come back!
