One of our daughters died after a long illness and we made a last second decision to travel to Costa Rica. We knew we needed serenity and privacy and Shaun’s place looked absolutely perfect. We’re so glad we made that decision. The house itself is like a secret lair for a super villain. Extremely modern and spartan design perched at the top of a hill overlooking jungle and ocean. Besides being beautiful, the house is also extremely well-built and functional. Every wall opens completely. Very well equipped kitchen. Infinity pool. Projector and screen. Lovely balconies on every side. The showers are … awesome. Private beach down the road. Thank you, Shaun, for helping us begin our journey back toward sanity. A tip. If you do stay here. There are 3 codes you’ll need for the gate to the road, the security gate at the driveway and for the front door. Do yourself a favor and write them on a scrap of paper. You’ll thank me later.

A beautiful treehouse in a great location. Close to beaches and restaurants, but still in the middle of the jungle. We watched a troop of howler monkeys from bed. And at night, we could see all the lightning bugs outside. Its downstairs from the hosts, so you can hear some noise from upstairs, but only a little during the daytime. Super cool, modern, new, and clean home. We'd happily come back for a few days!

We loved our stay in this little corner of heaven in nature! An experience to do if you want to experience jungle life with monkeys, birds, etc. A 4x4 is more than necessary given the condition of the roads to get there but it's all part of the experience. Thanks again to Sebastian who always summer available.

It was exactly what we expected, because all the descriptions fully matched what we got. We were ready that the access to the house is not easy because of the tide, we were ready that the house would be small, but or was ok for us, because we stayed only 2 nights. And we DIDN’T want noisy restaurants nearby, so we got what we wanted, Thank you so much!!!❤️

I just stayed at this amazing house and had to share how great it is. It's super spacious with a natural breeze, so you don’t always need the AC, although it’s available if you do. The saltwater pool is perfectly placed, staying cool all day, which is perfect for those hot Costa Rica days. Plus, every room has stunning ocean views and waking up to those gorgeous sunrises is something else. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, ideal for various activities. I actually checked it out as a potential spot for a photoshoot, and it’s perfect for that. You could easily host 8-10 people for an ideal mini retreat here. If you're looking for a place with great vibes and plenty of space for activities like women's circles, art classes, yoga, or fitness classes, this house is perfect.
