After a long trip in Uttarakhand, Govind Uncle’s place felt like HOME! The house is peaceful with well-kept lawns and mountains around, even though the main road’s hustle is just outside, the place is peaceful. The rooms are super clean & well maintained. Uncle and Aunty made us feel just at home with their early morning and evening chats, and helpful guidance throughout. It felt like visiting parents! Deepa, their helper, is a gem! always proactive and ensured we were comfortable, even helping with simple, tasty home meals that fit our dietary needs. If you want a homely stay rather than a hotel while enjoying Jim Corbett, this is a must. The Royal dhaba just outside served delicious, customised food. The sweetest part was Dude, their friendly dog, who guarded our rooms and made us feel even more at home! Must visit place!!

A great place. Just what we wanted. The cottage - is not very old. Yet it is built in local fashion with local materials but with all modern 'living amenities' as listed. In keeping with the mountain terrain it is built at 'levels. 'Full of knick knacks, a fire place & so on.... All this gives it a very cosy , yet rustic feel, very authentic & lovable. The cottage does not have a 'living room', but that is compensated by the large verandah overlooking the property. Grand views all day. the owners were present in their other house on the property. Very friendly yet not intrusive. One does not expect such help full caretakers in a airbnb. The caretaker cum househelp cum handyman Mr. Bobby Singh who is on hand 24/7 is a gem. he cleans, cooks, advises(if asked). Plus there is Mr. Anand Singh who takes care of the 'grounds' of the property, who helps in procuring groceries & stuff. Two people to help !!! Almost like a serviced resort . Easy in and easy out, felt right at home, words won’t describe how amazing it was? You’ve got to experience it to feel it, especially Deewan, you call him any time, and he’ll be there to assist you. Also you’ve got to give it up for the food they offer, that was cherry on the top, it’s home made and they do maintain proper hygiene also very pocket friendly. At the end i will just finish by saying “You guys are doing a great job, people will always love your services.”
