We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

这是我整个斯里兰卡行程住的最有情调的房子了！到的时候刚好是落日时分，站在大露台上可以看到灿烂的夕阳太阳缓缓落下！晚上对面的山上灯火辉煌，我们在躺椅上抬头可见看到满天的星星，简直不要太美！房间超级大，无敌干净，当然还有更加热情加热心的房东，开车带我们去逛超市！我们还在超大厨房做了晚饭和早饭。推荐给所有小伙伴，这就是feel home. This is a highly recommended place to all the friends. You can see the sunset here，you can see the bright lights in the evening,you also can see the stars in the sky. The room is big and clean. The host is hospitable.This is a gorgeous place.

I stayed at Riverside for 3 weeks and it was a great stay. The apartment is situated a few km out of Kandy in a small village, which is great as you get to experience real Sri Lankan life, I found the villagers very friendly, often stopping to chat to me. The bus to Kandy is just 10 mins walk away. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and with a wonderful large balcony perfect for eating and working. There's an outside plug so you can plug in your laptop. Hiran and family are lovely, Hiran is happy to help with any problems and the breakfast cooked by his wife is delicious and different most days. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and I'd stay again also being a solo woman traveller I felt safe at all times.

Stay here if you: 1. Want to stay with polite and helpful host 2. Want a well-equipped place to stay - large room, 2 beds and bathroom 3. Want a safe neighbourhood Mr. Dilan's place is nice and comfortable. The accommodation is on the 2nd floor with separate entrance. It has a little unconventional layout - the entrance is through the kitchen and the large room and bathroom are on either sides. All equipment were functional and spaces were clean. The room is large and comfortable. The house is in a quiet residential area and surrounded by mango and avocado trees :) You also get a good view of the sunset from the balcony. There is a walkie-talkie available for you to interact with Mr. Dayan, the host's representative. He is very helpful, polite. He and Mr. Dilan helped us place a food delivery order - may look like a small gesture but a big help when your app doesn't work at night! Overall, we had a happy stay at this place.

He made sure we felt at home and all our needs are met. The house is beautiful and spacious. The security was also very nice and helpful. If you’re looking for a safe and cozy place, this is it. We rented this place for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Place is very clean and all interior and furnitures were very comfortable. Situated in a very clam place perfect for long holiday with family

Monti en zijn ouders zijn zeer gastvrije mensen! Mijn vriend en ik hadden problemen met onze volgende accommodatie en ze boden ons aan om nog een nacht te blijven! Wij aten een avondmaal en een ontbijt hier, deze werd klaargemaakt door de ouders. Dit was echt een super lekker!!! Je kreeg ook wanneer je wou thee of koffie (gratis). De plek zelf is een verborgen parel, Monti gaf ons enkele tips over wat we konden bezoeken in de omgeving. Wij bezochten dan ook op aanraden van Monti een super mooie waterval! Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden zeker nog eens teruggaan naar hier!!!

We really enjoy their it’s more feel like home. We stayed there for two day but it’s very peaceful and beautiful house even we mention this villa on our YouTube channel as well you can check on privitravels my wife love to shoot that place… they are not ready to leave the villa because of that calmness and beauty… thanks to owner he is very nice person who gave his place to experience the beautiful villa in Kandy. We love it ✌️😊

The apartment is really beautyful, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Located in a very rural neighbourhood, yet really close to Kandy it's a good base for exploring the city. Drivers beware that you need strong nerves to get the car into the Garage on a very steep slope.

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

We had a really nice experience in this AirBnB. The owner and his brother were really kind and helpful! It’s even bigger than on the photos and has a nice view and very calm. You should know that there can be some insects like ants or mosquitos since it is directly surrounded by nature, which was no problem for us :)

Hashitha was a perfect host. Check in was quick and professional, but also personable. My host was in easy reach, if needed, but I was allowed my privacy. The whole experience was brilliantly enhanced, by being able to sit on the veranda and take in the fabulous gardens. All in all an experience to hold fond memories of.

Der Aufenthalt bei Achala war perfekt! Die Unterkunft entspricht genau den Bildern. Der Ausblick ist sensationell! Das eigene Bad ist über einen Gang im Freien erreichbar und riesig. Es gibt eine offene Dusche, einen beleuchteten Spiegel etc. Das Klima ist perfekt und abends wird es angenehm kühl. Durch die großen Glasscheiben wir es morgens allerdings früh hell und sehr warm. Wir hatten keine Mosquitos! Achala und seine Familie sind super sympathische Hosts. Die Unterkunft war im Vergleich sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach Kandy dauert es etwa 25 Minuten und es ist möglich mit Uber, Tuk Tuk oder Bussen zu fahren. In Kandy können wir das Banana Chill Cafe sehr empfehlen. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt perfekt (vielleicht etwas zu kurz) und wir können das Air BnB absolut empfehlen.

Our stay at Somaland was an incredible experience! We were treated like royalty yet felt completely relaxed and like at home. The colonial mansion is very beautiful. Impeccably preserved and kept, luxurious and comfortable, it’s huge and full of exquisite furnishings. Such a rare opportunity to be able to stay in such a magnificent residence with such history, surrounded by peaceful gardens and lush landscape. Our trip was only enhanced by the divine attention and service of Nilani and Gamage. They welcomed us into the home and looked after us like special family members. So thoughtful and kind and fun. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an extraordinary and wonderful experience. Pieter the host was incredibly helpful and attentive with many extra tips along the way. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft, sie ist wunderschön und liegt am Fluss. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Außerdem ist sie sehr groß und sehr gut eingerichtet, es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine und sehr viele Utensilien für die Küche. Der Gastgeber und der Hausmeister sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und immer per Handy oder persönlich zu erreichen. Wir haben Tipps für eine Anreise mit dem Bus und weitere Aktivitäten erhalten. Fußläufig gibt es einen Supermarkt und Restaurant.
