Chalet vacation rentals in Galway

A place to unplug from daily life. The decor inside the surf hut was beautifully decorated, very calming colour scheme and in keeping with the surrounding area. A great place to see the sunrise and the moon and stars at night. we even woke up at 5 am with the moon right outside the front door. Having the bikes was a great touch and was lovely to cycle the local area. Jennifer and her husband were exceptionally accomodating, friendly and the perfect hosts. We would highly recommend this spot if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Horseriding on the beach is an absolute must. Beautiful sandy beaches nearby for our morning and evening paddle. We would happily go back again. 😊

Excellent accommodation, very clean and well looked after. The kitchen was great and well stocked with pots and pans. Bedrooms were spacious with good clothes storage space. Both bedrooms are ensuite too which is nice. John was easy to communicate with and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Bill’s lodge. We were unlucky with the weather for the first 2 days but after that we were able to spend our time enjoying the walks of the local area! The proximity of the lodge to the local forest and its various walks was a real bonus and our dog companion really enjoyed them too! It was a real treat to wake up and find deer grazing on the grass by the lodge too 😍

brigid’s space is so beautiful and peaceful. very clean and cozy we had a very relaxing time staying while visiting the area. very sweet family and hosts who are helpful. love the views and their sweet doggie sasha greeting us every day. honestly wish we could have stayed longer here. thank you for hosting us! Cosy little base for exploring Galway and Clare. Trisha’s chalet is a little gem in a quiet location not far from M18 - perfect for exploring Galway, Connemara, Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Trisha has put a lot of thought into creating this home away from home. The chalet was spotless, beds comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook in the evenings. Trisha is a most welcoming hostess - she quickly answered any queries we had before and during our stay. I have no hesitation in recommending and hope to return one day.

Gorgeous, cosy place and we received a lovely welcome. Some very nice walks close by and the enchanted forest is worth a visit for both young and old.

Honestly the nicest Airbnb hosts we’ve ever had. Met us upon arrival. Had snacks, breakfast items, and other toiletries I would never expect of a host, but they had it and offered it. Communication was top notch and provided ideas of local restaurants and other area “attractions”. Upon my next visit to Ireland I will be reaching out to Kathleen and Emily!!

Le logement de Gerry est très agréable, il y a tout ce qu'il faut et la vue sur le lac depuis le salon est extraordinaire. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter le Connemara. Bref, parfait séjour.

This airbnb has one the most beautiful scenic views I've ever seen, there's a lake just 3 mins walking, it is really peaceful and quiet. Agnes was really kind and helpful, she even received us with bread, milk and butter. We will definitely come back!
