Would highly recommend, the views from the place are stunning and it was fantastic to be able to wake up to views of the River Shannon. Lanesborough is a nice little town, would recommend the Italian restaurant that has just recently opened there and the supermarket is very good. A very peaceful and relaxing experience.

Seaview apartment in Louisburgh

MarionRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The communication in advance regarding our arrival was perfect. Margaret was already waiting for us and instructed us directly into the apartment. Our expectations were more than exceeded. So coffee and tea were available and even 6 fresh eggs were ready! We have not experienced this in almost 20 years of experience in vacation homes or apartments. Margaret even took care of the waste disposal for us, saying, "After all, we're on vacation." It couldn't be better. Thank you very much to Margaret and Vincent. And the German-Irish friendship between our dachshund (Lady) Olivia and the Maltese dog (Lord) Toby should not go unmentioned.

Spectacular apartment in Clifden, Connemara

MaryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Liz was a fantastic host and we had a wonderful stay in her lovely apartment! It was so peaceful and the apartment is very comfortable and cozy, but just steps from lots of restaurants and shops. She was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and sent us a lot of suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing before we arrived that made our visit even better. The apartment was so peaceful and comfortable though that we were happy spending a lot of time there as well. Our family would absolutely return to Clifden and to Liz’s charming home - she is an outstanding host!

Loved staying here for a family wedding. Great location near everything but a couple of blocks away from the crowds. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. I had one question about check in (due to my careless reading of the check-in information and she was immediately available. Highly recommend!

The Old Bakery

RoseRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We loved staying in The Bakery. The Photos don’t do it justice. Spacious and pristine. Maeve was very quick to respond to any queries we had. She had also left Lindor chocolates, biscuits and fresh flowers for us which was just lovely. Roundstone is so picturesque, with a couple of lovely pubs and the walk on the nearby beaches on Christmas Day morning was just stunning. Would highly recommend staying here.

The Round House

Kevin And NatalieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our stay here was the highlight of our two-week trip along Ireland’s Emerald Coast! The home is spacious, stylish, and comfortable—perfect for cooking meals in the unique circular kitchen, taking a bath in the gorgeous clawfoot tub or sitting by the fireplace reading. The views of the Bay and the Aran Islands were absolutely stunning, and with the water just steps away, we felt truly connected to the landscape. Bernie and Val were a wonderful hosts—quick to respond and full of helpful tips, especially for visiting Inishmore, where we had an amazing day exploring by e-bike. One night, Val brought fresh lobsters, prepared them perfectly, and joined us for wine and great conversation. We especially enjoyed the welcome basket upon arrival. Kayaking in the bay was unforgettable, with seals bobbing nearby from the colony across the water. Between the scenery, the comfort, and the warm hospitality, this stay was pure magic. We can’t recommend it enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Dooras Lodge

JenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The views from the house and the peaceful location were everything that I was hoping for. You definitely need a car to get around, as indicated in the description, but the local shop and pub are within easy walking distance. The house was clean and tidy, and pleasantly warm as well. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen with everything you could want. There were 4 adults in my party and we each got a room to ourselves, but you could easily fit twice as many people and the house wouldn't feel crowded. Stunning area with plenty of wonderful hikes and things to see within 15-45 mins away. Loved it!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, yet surrounded by so many great places and things to do. The house was cozy and very unique. Sheila and Redmond are fantastic hosts. They cared very much about us having a great experience and provided support and a wealth of knowledge on the area. This was the perfect place to call home for our few days in County Galway. We hope we can make it back one day!!

Beautiful setting and an incredibly comfortable home. We would love to come again and stay longer. The view of the mountains, water, horses grazing, the sky and sea are just amazing. We got to see the place in sun, rain, and winds and loved every second of it. The living room and kitchen eat in area are comfortable. The place is light and airy. The beds were comfortable and the area is so very quiet and peaceful. We really loved the place and the host, Ita, was very kind and accommodating.

Exclusive Luxury Seafront 2 Bedroom Apartment

JuliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely spot in Salthill! Everything was clean & bright, parking was excellent, & the space was very well-appointed. We have the following thoughts as a couple traveling with a young child: - VERY helpful to have the dedicated parking! - It was really a treat to have such nice amenities throughout the unit, from big items such as the washer/dryer to nice touches like an ice tray (we Americans definitely appreciated that!). - The view and location really can't be beat. Such a treat to watch the ocean and promenade from the balcony, and we were able to walk to dinner/to get groceries easily. - Note that the unit has fireproof doors throughout which are quite heavy and were a struggle for our child. Two doorstops were provided, which helped, but I mention just in case it's helpful. - The security provided at the building level was inconsistent; the gate and front door were sometimes locked and sometimes not, with no rhyme or reason. - Overall, we were very pleased & would stay again!

Luxury relaxation with sunroom & private apartment

GeraldineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Loretta’s guesthouse is very high level quality for Airbnb. I have stayed in many Airbnbs but none were anywhere near as good as this one. It is absolutely beautiful and the photos don’t do it enough justice. It is extremely clean, practical and beautiful. Loretto is an extremely welcoming host. What a pleasure to have met her. I can understand the previous reviews where someone said she didn’t want to leave. The bed is very comfy and made up with exquisite linen. The sitting/sun room looks out onto the well kept garden. A pure slice of heaven. We HIGHLY recommend it. 🌸🌼

No 4 The Mill Apartments

OliviaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This accommodation is a lovely old house right on a small harbour in the middle of nowhere and walking to Cong is about 30 minutes, so you should have a car. The accommodation is large, with enough space and two bathrooms, nice seating areas and everything you need. The decor may be a bit old-fashioned, but it fits the charm of the house. Would stay here again at any time. Contact with Annette and Simon was always uncomplicated and nice.
