Vacation rentals with lake access in Galway

Knights cottage is a beautiful original cottage which has been updated to a high standard with everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer,well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms. Very homely, warm with beautiful views of Lough Mask, within a few minutes walk away. We stayed as a family of 5 for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thankyou Maura for being so accommodating and welcoming.

We stayed her for a weekend and had a lovely time. Great location close to everything. beautiful views and surroundings. Apartment is like a home from home, very clean and comfortable. Susanne was a very friendly and accommodating host. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

We stayed as a family (two boys, ages 2 and 4) for three nights over the Easter holidays. I couldn’t recommend this enough-what a gorgeous experience for our fellas! They were delighted by the charm of the bus and loved taking turns in the driver seat. Richard couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful both in showing us around and recommending local spots. The campfire area was especially nice too. Not far from Galway and Wildlands Park; beautiful drives all around and a gorgeous walk by Lough Corrib. Huge thanks to Richard for hosting us-boys are already asking to go back. Many thanks!

What a lovely home, nestled far away to get some peace but close enough to great restaurants and attractions. A lovely space for a group or family to enjoy time in the Irish countryside. Appreciated the welcome pack and website with recommendations and instructions. Great communication with our host throughout our stay, which made this a delightful experience.

Absolutely gorgeous house and grounds, like something from a postcard. Everything you could need was in the house. House is bright and spotlessly clean. Great location. Handy adventure centre in the hotel a five minute walk from the house. Margaret is a fantastic host who made sure we had a great trip. Thank you Margaret. The Mancunian girls will come again!

Such a beautiful place! Great location, private and far enough away but just a quick 5 minute drive and you’re in the heart of Galway! The parking suggestions were perfect! Overall, it was a great stay and so unique!

It was a great place. Very beautiful house with a good ambience inside and outside. Clean home and ample space for everything. The host was very good and friendly with communication and quick response to my questions. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking out for a one night get together. They also have outdoor space for campfire and games.

We had a super stay at Willie's place. The apartment was very stylish and comfy and had everything we needed including a great coffee machine. The pizzas (and pints) in the pub downstairs were delicious! Will definitely return in future.

Our stay with Regina was wonderful it's a great little get away; nice, peaceful, relaxing and great views all around. Regina was the perfect host greeting us at the door making us feel very welcomed, giving us tips on what to do in the local area and leaving us some of her signature scones to enjoy. I would highly recommend staying with Regina.

Impeccably clean, well appointed, and beautiful views. Perfect retreat with friendly and responsive hosts. A very useful and detailed booklet that clearly explains how the appliances work as well as many useful tips for the area! Highly recommend!

This accommodation was perfect. We were five adults attending a family wedding which took place at the Hotel which was next door to this accommodation. We even walked into the hotel in the morning and paid for breakfast. The accommodation was immaculate and I would highly recommend it.

Nora’s cottage is a one of the most beautiful, peaceful and lovely places I’ve ever visited. Sitting around her kitchen table with my family is a memory I’ll never forget. Peace and beauty. She thought of absolutely everything to make one feel welcome, cozy and comfortable.

Oh my goodness this place!!!! Absolutely stunning location, peaceful and private yet handy for a great choice of restaurants in Clifden. The cottage itself is just totally beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and the views are unreal. We’ve never spent so much time wanting to look out of windows!! The deer and the ponies were a bonus. Mary was great at communication. All in all my favourite Airbnb. Thank you so much for letting us experience this fabulous property in a magical area.

The landlords were always friendly, helpful and quick to reach. Fantastic setting directly at the lake. The furnishings are functional, the furnishings of the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. We felt right at home. I highly recommend it!

the views are unbelievable at our lough as we've now decided it belongs to us lol... The wee cottage was perfect for a family of 4. we were able to make dinner and slept very well. Piero looked after us really well. He was a,wee legend x

We had a wonderful stay at Pat and Mary Angela's. Irish music, scones and a fire in the fireplace on arrival, everything was perfect! The cottage is in a great location for visiting County Galway.
