Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Galway

My family visited Galway and we were lucky to find Mary's house to stay during our visit! The location was absolutely perfect, with walking distance to main attractions, but also on a quiet street. The house is beautiful, with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Mary is a wonderful host and appreciate the open communication. Would 100% recommend a stay at Mary's place!!!

I can’t say enough about Tommy’s place!! Beautiful views, peaceful. The house was immaculate, spacious, and the beds comfortable. Tommy was an amazing host and shared so much knowledge of what to do and where to eat. Maggie May’s and Ken’s Oriental were delicious.

House is beautiful and very comfortable! All the amenities we need and super clean. The view and surrounding scenery are amazing. We walked 3 1/2 miles to town on Sky road each morning and saw donkeys, Connemara ponies, jack rabbits and pheasants. Wonderful restaurants in town. Great hike up Diamond Hill in nearby National Park and swam in ocean at beautiful Dog’s beach. Amazing place for a relaxing and fun vacation!

Without a doubt one of the greatest Air BnB I have stay throughout all my travels. Newly renovated extremely charming stone cottage with everything needed. We were in awe at all the beauty and of course the horse who greeted us. Helen made fresh bread (best ever) and beverages upon our arrival which was so welcoming. Could not give this location and host enough compliments. Highly recommend this stay for peaceful location outside of the Eyre Center (easy 15 mins) Thank you for a truly special memorable experience 🍀🇮🇪

Excellent and comfortable stay.

I stayed here with my family (5 of us total) for two nights and we had a wonderful experience. The hosts were proactive with checkin instructions and always responded super quickly to any of our questions. We loved the coziness of the room decorations. They left us a bottle of wine and some snacks and a handy qr code for house rules and things to do in the area. The place is so spacious and we really enjoyed having a washer and dryer in unit. Only downsides were that the WiFi wasn’t great and you have to park a couple streets over. It was slightly confusing at checkin because we didn’t realize the unit is below (door to the side) the main entrance that is pictured. We would definitely stay again though if we’re ever back in Galway and highly recommend!

We had tea with both Aisling and Ray one night and ended up chatting for over 1.5 hours. They were wonderful hosts and provided us with local recommendations for restaurants and activities. Ray also made us delicious bread. We will cherish this trip!

Olivia sent us pictures of the house the day before arrival and detailed explanations of how to find the house, where the key box is and so on. When we arrived, we were totally thrilled with the apartment from the first moment, it was furnished exactly as described. Very nice, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom happened to be exactly like our home decorating style. This immediately gave us a "feeling of home." The apartment was above average well equipped. There were several varieties of tea, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner - hand soap from Rituals, there were adapter plugs & hairspray, in addition a nice cozy wool blanket. We got to know Olivia personally on the day of departure and had a very pleasant and pleasant conversation with her. We would recommend the apartment and Olivia as a landlady at any time. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great location, walkable to all "must sees", 10 paces from one of the top pubs in Galway (the Crane bar). Clean, comfortable, full kitchen, everything you need!

We felt very comfortable in Róisín's tastefully furnished apartment and had a wonderful vacation. The apartment is in a rural quiet location and has a short distance to the beach. It is perfect for excursions in the area of the Burren National Park and other spectacular points on the coast, especially recommended for hikers (a car is necessary). Marion was a lovely and attentive host. She gave us very clear instructions on how to find her place. She checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we were doing ok. Her hideaway is very peaceful and situated in a great place for exploring the west coast of Ireland. We had a great time and would love to return!

We carefully read and followed the advice of the previous guests and that‘s why we didn‘t stay for just one or two day‘s but five! We truly felt welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet here. And yes - every day we had the loveley company of the sweet four-legged friend :) A wonderful stay in an incredibly beautiful landscape! The accommodation is thoughtfully equipped, clean and comfortable, which made us feel right at home. It is located almost in the middle of Inishmore, which makes it a good base for exploring the island on a bicycle (mind the direct route to the house is considered harder than the path along the coast). It has a beautiful beach within a walking distance. Sinéad is a welcoming and proactive host and was available to answer any questions we had before and during our stay.
