Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Galápagos Province

Very good location. The accommodation is next to pharmacies, bakery, supermarkets. The pool is nice. The house is excellently equipped both for living and for going out with diving gear. Each bedroom is spacious and has its own bathroom. The kitchen has plenty of dishes to cook in. Barbara is very nice and responsive to our requests and needs. We recommend this place to stay for families or groups of friends.

Charles and Ximena were great hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Galapagos Cottages is an excellent location clos e to Tortuga Bay. Also, the coffee, milk be beer in the frigde was perfect.

Great little place for a group to stay. The host was super helpful and quick to reply. Couldn’t ask for more! The only downside is the very low pressure in the shower, but it must the island problem. There is also a lot of noise coming from the street during night so not a good option if you are light sleeper. But! Overall very happy with the stay.

Location location location! Walkable to all stores, restaurants and the port. Casa Tortuga was better than the pictured as the entrance had a beautiful little garden with flowers and fruit. Tortuga bay is a 30 mts walk from the property but very easy to follow. All Utilities available in the kitchen and great selection of books. My daughter managed to find and finish Congo! The restaurant recommendations in the book was very helpful. It would help if the distance to each restaurant was listed as we were new to the neighborhood. Another recommendation is folks can have an English speaking driver as it would have been good to communicate on the way.. Thank you for promptly responding and answering our questions and for also helping with the taxi service. Highly Recommend this property to all families and couples.

We loved staying at Jairo’s place in San Cristobal. The location was perfect, we were steps from where we picked up boats for excursions during the day. The host was very communicative and helpful, beds were comfy and it felt very safe. It was just what we needed to explore the town for a bit after our galapagos cruise. We loved San Cristobal! Extra bonus, I met a pregnant street kitty and when I told Jairo about her, he immediately said he would go look for her and get her vet care and help finding a home, and knew of the exact organization who would help. I would definitely stay here again.

Andres was an excellent host! This was a very good spot that was not very far from the action in santa cruz while still in a peaceful location. Andres was very responsive and accommodating when we lacked communication at times. The place we very clean and unique, they do a good job to offer it as it is advertised. This was an excellent stay!!

everything was great, absolutely nothing to complain about

I had a lovely month long stay here and worked remotely too - Emilie and Junior are incredibly helpful and kind! The unit is a large studio, has a induction cook top, spacious washroom, ac, etc. There is a in unit reverse osmosis water filter so no need to lug drinking water home! You're close to everything in town and a great snorkel spot 20 mins walk. Be a little careful with the old dog at night as he can't always recognize you but your hosts are upstairs to help. It's also over the host's bike and surf shop so you can pop downstairs to rent any equipment you want; trade off is you do get some noise like the air pressure cleaning of the bikes. Your hosts have a travel agency too and you can book tours directly through them and the ferry! The internet is starlink and good for the galapagos, I got usually around 20-30 Mbps down but it was 10-100 depending. There is a stutter to the connection sometimes and the router is not in the unit, but it was it was good for a month of work!

Jonn was a fantastic host— friendly and communicative. He let us borrow a couple of bikes and brought us water and bananas. The rooftop has a great view! The neighborhood is very laid back and not touristy at all. Bit of a walk into town but fine to do occasionally, mixed with some biking and taxi rides. We loved our stay in the apartment.

Beautiful apartment, located in the center of Puerto Ayora, close to all attractions. Spacious, bright, with quality furnishings and amenities. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, all of which makes for a wonderful stay.

A very clean and modern apartment in the center of Puerto Ayora. John is an amazing host who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well cared for. He arranged private transportation from the airport to the rental which included stops for a quick hike and a tour of the tortoise ranch with lava tunnels on the way. I would highly recommend this rental and will stay here again if I’m back in Galápagos.

We loved our stay at the Drake Inn - great service, right across the street from an amazing beach with iguanas. Great self-service bar and rooftop lounge with stunning views of the sea.

The house is new and very clean. It had everything for cooking, a water bottle and extra towels. Also a washer and dryer on the third floor. We really liked the condo. You have to ask for the address in advance because it was difficult to find it when we arrived, but we called Marco and he helped us. Thank you Marco

Conny’s place was absolutely fantastic! We loved staying there. It was the perfect place to stay in Puerto Ayora, everything is nearby (especially the port which is beyond convenient). The apartment is so comfortable and Conny is so helpful. Do yourself a favor and skip the hotels and stay here!

Amazing stay at Jessica's! highly recommend. it was in a great location - right next door to everything but still a quiet spot. comfortable couch to relax on and air con in both bedrooms.

Sahara’s place was great. Spacious and private. Very clean and silent. We felt right at home. Just one block away from all the restaurants and agencies yet silent at night. We strongly recommend it to anyone.

What an open peaceful space! The porch was spectacular and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. It was an easy walk to almost anything. The AlMar restaurant was a three minute walk with delicious food and drinks as well as being right on the water. We loved how open and airy the space was and the air conditioning was much appreciated especially for sleeping! Thank you to Matthew for meeting us and answering all our questions!

Excellent stay. The place has all the necessary amenities for a family group and the location is close to the main points of the island. A recommended option, no question.

An excellent place, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, even if you were there for a long period. The location is very good, a very quiet neighborhood and right in the middle between downtown and Playa Mann. IDEAL!

We really enjoyed staying here whilst on San Cristobal. We last minute booked and communication was really quick and easy. I had an online interview and the WiFi was really good. Very short walk to the sea front. Clean and spacious. Great aircon in the bedroom.
