We stayed here to help determine exactly where in France we would want to move. Cédric and his family were amazingly welcoming and helpful! They are courteous and kind. Even though they are on site, we rarely saw or heard them, allowing us privacy, but still available when we needed help. We are still learning French and they were very patient with our language barrier and we were always able to communicate. The house is on top of a hill, overlooking a beautiful setting. It is so calm and peaceful. Nearby towns offer any amenity needed and we were an easy drive to larger cities like Toulouse and Albi. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for tranquility.

very nice independent cottage in a quiet and quiet place amid greenery and alongside our hosts Pascale and Michel who gave us a very good welcome and who was able to provide us with very good advice and attention to make our stay pleasant and to enjoy what to visit nearby, it is an ideal place to rest and visit the Albi region.

A home from home, the Bastide is filled with an eclectic mix of personal and functional items that immediately allow you to relax. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. The host could not have been more communicative, instructive and friendly. She is relaxed and informative, very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We appreciated all the small touches during our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Me and my boyfriend and our two dogs had a great stay at the cottage, its really private and peaceful, nice to go for walks with the dogs, there are some farm animals to look at, fenced garden so the dogs can go out whenever, the pool and bbq was perfect when it was sunny and the jacuzzi was the best, it works perfect even when its rainy and windy because its inside. We had everything we needed, even a raclette machine which is always a big plus. Everything was clean, friendly host who was always quick to answer, really recommend this place 🤩☀️

Beautiful, well-furnished house, absolutely quiet location on the outskirts of Albi. We felt comfortable and appreciated the large, beautiful kitchen and the comfortable leather sofas. Large garden, ideal for our dogs, a good address!

Stunning property in beautiful isolation, with woodland, wild garden areas and babbling stream - but close to pretty small villages and Carcassonne only 1/2 hour away with large supermarkets for a “big” shop. Very easy to settle in to a very relaxing holiday. Our host has a family house renovated sympathetically full of character and personal effects. 3 good sized bedrooms, though only one toilet on the bedroom floor. Huge living room with fantastic views - ditto the kitchen, which is well stocked. We met Guillaume whilst mowing his vast area of grass - absolutely charming and he was very helpful and responsive throughout. Some toys, cot and a stair gate for our toddler grandson! We absolutely loved it - a joy and a privilege to experience this unique property. PS NOT for people with mobility problems. We absolutely loved it!

Jay sent us all the check-in information, we met Ben who was able to show up if there was any need. The accommodation is located in the center of many medieval villages. A comfortable accommodation, perfectly renovated in its sheepfold juice of the time. I highly recommend it. Thanks Jay!

We had a great time at this charming cottage, located in a beautiful wooded park with bamboo grove, pond and a beautiful swimming pool. The hosting was perfect: warm, attentive, with really caring hosts – a real plus! The accommodation is comfortable, well-equipped and ideal for a family with children: lots of games, large outdoor spaces, peaceful atmosphere, treasure hunt... Its location, a few kilometers from Bruniquel, is convenient for discovering the region. However, a small point of attention for people with reduced mobility: the staircase is narrow, the beams are low in the bedrooms, and there is no water point upstairs. But other than that, the rooms are very comfortable and well air-conditioned. A beautiful place that we gladly recommend to those looking for accommodation full of charm and stories, nature and friendliness.

Excellent 4-day weekend with 6 friends + 1 dog at Roger and Suzanne's! They were very welcoming and warm. We particularly appreciated the wooded setting, with the presence of colorful peacocks. The house matches the listing, so we were able to rest peacefully during this charming stay, to be recommended!

A real favorite for this stay in the countryside, close to Cordes-sur-Ciel. Away from impersonal homes, this charming home breathes life: books everywhere, two adorable cats who come by to say hello, a large peaceful garden with a river and its small bridge at the bottom of the grounds… The atmosphere is warm and soothing. Thank you to our discreet and thoughtful host for opening the doors of this corner of paradise to us. You feel at home there, better.

The dovecote offers an authentic, charming and warm setting for your stay. The environment is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We'll go back. Communication with Laetitia is very easy and enjoyable. Flexibility and reliability. We recommend it ++.

Perfect in every possible way, I would recommend it to everybody. Absolutely stunning setting, inside everything is fantastic, very tastefully decorated. Clean, very complete, well stocked so you do not have to go to the shops immediatly. Good beds, shower in every room. Very big living room with amazing views and lots of seating areas. And so much more. So much to visit and do in the surrounding countryside. We would love to visit again. And a lovely welcome by the owners, even if you arive much later due to traffic 🙏🏻, thousand thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at Aurelie's place, it's a beautiful house and the garden is a lovely place to spend time. It's a countryside home so we did encounter a couple of big spiders, but overall had a wonderful stay here. Aurelie was great to communicate with and didn't mind us making a last minute booking. L'almandier was a lovely conversion in the beautiful setting of La Maresque, with the heated pool a bonus. It was more spacious than in the photographs and very well equipped. It was a short trip to Albi, with its historical centre, shops and restaurants. Danielle and Jean-Marc gave us a warm welcome and were very approachable and responsive. We would love to return one day.

The house was perfect for our family vacation in Tarn. Clean and functional house, and tastefully decorated. The terrace, always shaded, allowed us to have all our meals outside. The children were able to make the most of the large swimming pool, right across the street from the house. This one is shared with the owners, very discreet. Lots of beautiful things to explore in the area (Albi and its cathedral, lots of pretty villages), but you need a car.
