Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

Es befindet sich im Garten der Villa Sunnyside, oberhalb von Schloß Pillnitz. Nicht richtig beheizbar daher nur im Sommer/Herbst buchbar! Bei Buchung im September/Oktober: Es gibt einen Ölradiator, so das es dennoch gut bewohnbar ist. Bitte warme Sachen und dicke Socken mitbringen und nur buchen wenn ihr nicht kälteempfindlich seid.

Die gemütliche Ferienwohnung ist durch ein großzügig gestaltetes Treppenhaus zu erreichen. Zur Entspannung kann die Lichtdurchflutete Sitzecke genutzt werde. Eine kleine Garderobe ist vor der Wohnungstür angeordnet. Im Eingangsbereich des Hauses ist eine Terrasse zum Sitzen im Freien. Der Blick ist in Richtung Weide und Wiese. Auf festem Untergrund kann gegrillt (Waldbrandwarnstufe beachten) oder auf der angrenzenden Wiese Sport betrieben werden. Die ruhige Atmosphäre ermöglicht viel Erholung.

Christine is terrific! I've booked her place 3 or 4 times now: She's always responsive, very helpful in all matters. She gives me free use of a bicycle to get around town; the coffee machine was full of coffee beans; the spice rack is full; she responds very promptly, usually in real time. She drove me around the town in order to answer some questions I had about the place. There is plenty of bed space for several people. I can highly recommend Christine's place, which is a straight 5 min walk to and from the train station. So it's very practical, whether you're staying in Forst or in the environs. I'll definitely be booking again!

Der Aufenthalt war super. Die Hütte war wie beschrieben, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Zum Check-In haben wir ein kleines Wilkommensgeschenk in Form eines Sekts & Focaccia bekommen. Die Anreise war ein wenig schwierig, da wir nach Google Maps umständlich durch einen Wald geleitet wurden, wobei in das kleine Dorf nur eine einzige geteerte Straße führt. Hier also aufpassen, lieber die 5 Minuten länger fahren als durch Schlamm und Matsch geleitet zu werden. Wir haben unsere paar Tage Auszeit hier dennoch sehr genossen und können uns auf jeden Fall vorstellen, für längere Zeit wieder zu kommen.

Wir sind begeistert von diesem Ferienhaus! Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Den eingezäunten Garten hat besonders unsere Hündin in der Sonne dösend genossen, wenn wir von Ausflügen zum Ausruhen zurück ins Haus gefahren sind. Auch sind die angrenzenden Nachbarn sehr freundlich. Wir drei fühlten uns sofort heimisch und die Zeit hier ging viel zu schnell vorüber. Der Erholungsfaktor war aufgrund der herrlichen Ruhe enorm für uns. Wenn es sich irgendwann ergibt, werden wir alles daran setzen hier wieder einen Termin zu ergattern. Danke Jochen, für die schöne Zeit in diesem (wunderbar warmem) Haus!

Die Unterkunft war super. Es gab klare Anweisungen und die Ausstattung war sehr modern und alles ordentlich. Bett war schön weich was uns gefallen hat. Auch das man die Fenster verdunkeln konnte war toll und auch das diese Verdunklung schon bei dem sonnigen Wetter unten war, war sehr vorausschauend. Ein Nachteil war der Verkehrslärm. Die Autos und LKWs fahren die ganze Nacht u d man könnte dadurch Nachts die Fenster nicht öffnen.

Für einen Kurztrip mit Kind genau das richtige! Wir durften 4 Tage Teil einer super herzlichen Hofgemeinschaft sein und vom Pool, über Grill bis hin zu den privaten Spielgeräten alles nutzen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und wie zuhause gefühlt. Klare Weiterempfehlung!
