I would absolutely come back and stay at Miwa's place. It really is a stone throw away from the main Namba stations, and really near the famous lion shrine called Yasaka Jinja. There's also a Family Mart just one minute away, and a train that flies over to the airport from Nankai Namba Station (which she accurately described when I couldn't find it on Google maps). Very personable over messages, even during the busy spring season! Make sure you read through a folder in the room, because I had one of the BEST meals of my life thanks to her top recommendations for matsusaka beef. 10/10 experience! Thanks for letting us store our bags after we checked out too, she made us want to extend our stay in Osaka until the very last moment.

Great place, and location

Location was great, within walking distance of Namba and Dotonburi. The host is really lovely, and made us feel very welcome and at home. Note that you have to carry up your luggage a few flights of stairs, and the walls are quite thin.

Great place to stay in Osaka for a bigger group. Lots of space and very comfortable. Location is perfect to shop, eat and go out.

A very quiet homestay experience, the perfect travel combination with the noise of Shinsaibashi, the three-story building is equipped with a small yard and tea stand, and there are plenty of rooms and spaces for us to have a comfortable and relaxing trip with friends, highly recommended👍

Spacious, pretty, traditional apartment with great amenities. Extremely nice, helpful, accommodating host. Good access to public transportation , close to downtown and many Kyoto sights. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house and surroundings with a very traditional Japanese feeling. The host was amazing. We had an amazing stay! The only downside was that it was quite far to most attractions, but it was worth it.

We stayed here for 4 days and walked to the bamboo Forrest every day. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station which was convenient for traveling to other sites around Kyoto. We would stay here again.

Mulan’s accommodation was perfect — we were happy to sleep on the tatami mats with our children. The place is very clean and welcoming. It was cold in the morning when we woke up, but we were warm and cozy under the thick comforters during the night. The bathroom is quite basic but very practical. The water is nice and hot, with great pressure. Communication with the host was very easy. They kindly drove us to the Golden Pavilion and then to the Silver Pavilion. They were very accommodating and helpful. They also dropped us off at the station so we could catch our train from Kyoto Station. The location is about 20 minutes by subway from Kyoto, and we enjoyed staying in such a peaceful residential neighborhood. There’s a FamilyMart on the street and a little place where we had some delicious pastries!

Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!

Our stay at Yamashita’s beautiful 100-year-old Japanese villa in Kyoto was the perfect way to end our 2 week vacation in Japan. The house is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped, perfect for our group of 12. It has everything you need and more. It has a serene garden, jacuzzi, and sauna—the kids especially loved the jacuzzi! Yamashita is an EXCEPTIONAL host—very warm, helpful, and accommodating. She drove us to supermarkets and places we wanted to go and even picked us up for a small fee. She prepared simple yet delicious breakfasts. She was quick to respond to messages and even guided us on using local buses. Though the house is a bit far from the touristy areas, the peace and quiet of Yamashita’s home made it the perfect retreat. It offered a more authentic and relaxing experience of Japan. I highly recommend Yamashita’s villa to anyone looking for comfort, culture, and outstanding hospitality. And to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in a traditional Japanese home.

Really enjoyed our stay in this cosy charming home which has a traditional feel just what we wanted to experience in Kyoto. The host was extremely thoughtful in providing above and beyond the basics such as milk, snacks, lovely coffee tea etc. We felt so comfortable right at home. We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Osaka! The place was spotless—super clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The host was absolutely lovely: very kind, responsive, and always helpful with any questions we had. One of the best parts was the location—it’s within easy walking distance to Dotonbori, so getting to all the action, food, and nightlife was a breeze. Despite being so close to everything, the apartment itself was quiet and peaceful, so we had no trouble sleeping. There’s also a 7-Eleven conveniently located right at the corner, which made grabbing snacks or essentials super easy, especially late at night. Overall, this stay made our Osaka trip even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city and would love to stay here again in the future!

Great place and easily accessible by lot of train/metro/tram station. The apartment was clean and spacious for me and my family. The host was always reponsive if any help needed. Definitely will book again if I comeback to Osaka soon.

Miki's place is very clean and spacious. It is also 4min walk to subway station. And less than a mile from Namba, using taxi. There are 2 bathrooms, and 2 toilets, as well as a nice playroom where my kids played board games.

Our family of four stayed for six nights, and we had a great experience. The owner provided clear instructions on getting to the apartment from the subway, which was just a few minutes' walk away. It’s only a 3-minute walk to Kuromon Market and a 15-minute walk to Dotonbori—close to most attractions but still quiet at night. She even offered free luggage storage downstairs, which was very convenient. The apartment is a typical Japanese-style unit: small but clean and comfortable, fitting the four of us and our luggage perfectly. Overall, we were happy with our stay!
