The reviews It was conveniently located near the Nintendo Museum (only 4 stops on the Kintetsu line). Living in a traditional Japanese house and talking to Japanese people was a great experience. It was a 2-minute walk from the bus stop that took me directly to Fushimi Inari. The view from the top was amazing, overlooking the city of Kyoto. It's a little far from the center but it was quiet and I slept well. Uzu introduced us to some restaurants around the inn, and they were all delicious.

Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!

By far the best stay during our trip to Japan. The accommodation was fun, well stoked, and well kept. We tried to spend as much time as possible in this stay, spinning the vinyl and relaxing. Only regret was we didn’t have more time. Highly recommend to all.

The stay at 京都駅前町家嘉右衛門 was extremely homely. The host communicated clearly the instructions to locate it and we were 5-7min walking over from Kyoto Station with 4 luggage. The host was very welcoming, clearing introducing us to all the amenities around the house from the lounge to the bedroom to the washer-dryer. In our two nights stay at 京都駅前町家嘉右衛門, we were able to experience living in a heritage machiya yet enjoyed the convenience of modernity furnishings. We will return to 京都駅前町家嘉右衛門 if we come through Kyoto again, and recommend it to all our friends.

One of the best experience in Kyoto. I stayed at Lan’s place for two nights, it was quite and comfortable, there are several coin parking lots nearby so it is very easy to park. Lan was very kind to us, he even brought some drink and he was always willing to help. Anyways, I strongly recommend this place to everyone who’s willing to travel and stay at Kyoto.

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

A tranquil outdoor bath is nestled within a wooden enclosure, surrounded by natural stone elements. Cherry blossom trees add a touch of elegance, while warm wooden beams enhance the serene atmosphere. Soft lighting creates a calm ambiance, perfect for relaxation.

Great accommodation very close to the station and local shops. Spacious with all the necessities for guests. The outdoor bath was very nice. On the other hand, trains pass regularly, so plan on bringing earplugs for those who are light sleepers.
