We love contrasts - In Schloss Lanke, we rent a spacious 100 sqm loft in the attic. A castle loft. French Neo-Renaissance on the outside, subtle minimalism on the inside. The apartment is on our small, remote farm where we and our animals live. It fits for 2-4 people, but possibly also for more, through an extended sofa, crib, mattresses, and/or camping outside. The apartment has a south-facing window facing the garden, where sometimes animals graze. There you can also relax and make campfires. The swimming spot is 10 minutes away. Walking distance. The bike path "Spur der Steine" passes by here and is nice to do inline and cycling.

I rent it when I am out of town, I have been living here for 14 years so you will find my personal belongings (no valuables) and a lot of love in the apartment so treat it as if it was yours! The 40 sqm apartment consists of a room with sleeping places for two people, private kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the Steinseehaus, a long old brick building on a plot of 6000 sqm, directly on the lake. On our large plot there is plenty of space to relax, with a small barrel sauna (min 15€ per heating donation for the wood), large trampoline, ping pong table, fireplace, Hollywood swing at the lake and of course space for outdoor food and barbecue.

We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the smaller unit. (The larger unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21642508) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.
