Sehr, sehr tolles Haus, nicht mehr ganz neu und dadurch einige Alterserscheinungen, aber nichts Gravierendes. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Besitzerin Ana war persönlich vor Ort, als wir ankamen. Sie hatte jede Menge frische Lebensmittel eingekauft und zu unserer Ankunft am Abend eine sehr gute Suppe gekocht. Ana ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, wir fühlten uns sofort herzlich willkommen. Sie hat uns alle Dinge, die wir wissen mussten, im Haus gezeigt. Da es bei unserem Aufenthalt relativ kühl und windig auf den Azoren war, schätzten wir den Kaminofen im Haus besonders. Holz war auch ausreichend da. Der Ort Mosteiros ist sehr schön und die Brandung in den Klippen direkt vor dem Haus ist außergewöhnlich und lässt sich von der Couch aus beobachten. Ein sehr gutes lokales Restaurant mit exzellentem Fischangebot ist fußläufig erreichbar.

Séjour parfait. Tout était conforme aux informations, c’était même plus grand que ça semblait sur les photos. Un peu compliqué de s’y rendre la première fois mais par la suite c’était correct. Communications fluides et réponses rapides des hôtes. Je recommande sans hésiter.

We are so sad to leave this beautiful place! The house’s description is very accurate to the T: perfect location- you will be able to explore the island easily, 4 equally sized bedrooms with a pullout as an extra, kitchen with all the utensils, pots, glasses, ect. Our favorite part was the rooftop deck with sunrises and sunrises! The host graciously made the reservations for local restaurants and recommended some extra activities that we didn’t include in our original plans. The communication was easy - usually reply came in 30 min. We would happily recommend this place to our friends and hopefully come back soon. Note: the house has lots of stairs that can create problems for people with limited mobility. It was not an issue for us but it might be an issue for some.

Very nice place, from comfy beds to a beautiful living room, we really enjoyed staying in the house! BBQ pit was a great addition - used it almost every night. And it's sooooo quiet! Will be back again!

Very comfortable, centrally located apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was easy, and all the check in and area information was clear and accurate. Would definitely stay again.

This is my second time staying at this location and we had a great stay again! Perfect area - walkable to everything. When staying in furnas I’d stay here each time!

The place was better than expected. I don't think the photos do it justice especially since the kitchenette was redone. The apartment is spread out on 3 floors, each with views of the ocean -- not distant views, but rather, it faces the ocean and each floor has wide windows. We had a constant view of waves plus their sound helped with sleeping. The location is good -- it's walking distance to several restaurants, cafe's, the harbor, there's walking path along the coast. There is street parking available but better is to grab a spot in the small lot before or after the place. We didn't have an issue getting a spot any time. The nearby streets are annoying to drive though as they are narrow leaving just inches between your car and parked cars. Francisco was very friendly & helpful. Of all 5 places we stayed, he was the only one to greet us in person. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and allowed us to check in early. Overall, we were very happy with the stay.

A casa é óptima, extremamente limpa, com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia muito confortável. A vista é lindíssima com um enorme espaço exterior. Os anfitriões são muito cuidadosos e simpáticos e responderam sempre prontamente a todas as nossas questões. Ainda tiveram o cuidado de deixar toalhas de banho e uma manta adequadas para bebé e ofereceram produtos alimentares da região. Recomendamos vivamente a casa do Pedro e voltaremos se possível!

A perfect space for two couples to enjoy a comfortable space and a good central location on the island to experience and explore. We enjoyed relaxed evenings in the hot tub! Joao was a lovely and responsive host and went the extra mile for us to be comfortable.

Séjourner dans la magnifique propriété de Fátima et Fernando a été un véritable plaisir. Tout a été impeccable : la maison elle-même, qui a non seulement répondu, mais même dépassé nos attentes, ainsi que la communication, qui a été fluide et attentionnée tout au long du séjour. Coup de coeur pour la magnifique cour ainsi que sa piscine et son spa. Je recommande vivement le Lotus House à quiconque souhaite vivre une expérience inoubliable aux Açores. Situé à distance de marche de plusieurs restaurants, avec une cour intime et à seulement quelques minutes en voiture de Ponta Delgada, c’est l’endroit idéal pour découvrir la beauté de l’île de São Miguel.

...Very pleased with Vila Ana....beautiful home with a great kitchen. Location is perfect with a cafe and small grocery store next door. More than met our expectations. Clean and roomy common areas. Everything you could want or need. Felt like a home. Outdoor area is beautiful and the convenience of having a driveway and parking area makes a big difference. This property is in a very nice area and is thoughtfully taken care of and equipped. I would only recommend one thing.....to add an American style drip coffee maker for those who don't know how to work a French press. Otherwise, it's one of the nicest places I have stayed at....in all my travels.

We had such a lovely family vacation staying in Maria's place! It was well suited for 7 adults with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The host is very easy to contact and good follow up on any questions that we had during our stay. Check in and check out were also very easy. We loved lounging on the terrace and walking along the shore. We enjoyed many breakfasts together in her well equipped kitchen before venturing out and exploring for the day. Coming home at night, we looked forward to building a cozy fire in the living room while sharing our favorite memories from the day. If returning to Sao Miguel, we'd love to stay at Maria's place again! Obrigada!

Nuestra estancia en la casa fue incredible. Desde el primer momento, la comunicación fue clara y rápida, los anfitriones muy amables, siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo. El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y equipado con todo lo necesario, cuidado al mínimo detalle. La ubicación es ideal, a pocos minutos del aeropuerto y del centro de la ciudad, en una zona muy tranquila con todos los servicios necessários muy próximos. Sin duda, estaremos encantados de volver a alojarnos en esta casa. Muchas gracias a los anfitriones.

This Airbnb is a solid spot for a midsize group (there were 6 of us, 3 couples). Lovely having all en suite bathrooms and the common space was very open, allowing us all to have privacy when wanted but coming together very easily. The views were great, and the place was clean with thoughtful amenities geared toward American travelers—washer and dryer, large fridge, dishwasher, and multiple heat pumps. The walkability was a big plus, and the host was flexible and responsive throughout. The downstairs area, particularly the laundry room, was a bit musty, and the furniture generally felt budget, but everything was functional and got the job done. It was a great location for us as we were driving all over the island, nothing was ever more than 2 hours away and was very close to the airport. Two parking spaces were also a huge plus.

Beautiful place and very spacious house with many amenities. The host was extremely kind and communicative. We were informed in advance about certain shortcomings and were offered a discount. A nice gesture was the champagne and chocolates upon arrival. The only downside might have been the noticeable humidity, although this is quite understandable given the conditions and location. For this reason, the pizza oven took a long time to heat up, as the moisture had to evaporate. During the period we stayed (late December to early January), it was quite windy, rainy, and foggy, so it’s worth considering this in your plans.

The host Cristina was great. Very responsive to questions and requests. The house was amazing. Lots of room, great pool. I would recommend booking the house if you are going to stay in Sao Miguel. Rui personally welcomed us despite our late arrival at 10 p.m. and gave us the most detailed overview and tips about the island that I’ve ever received at any accommodation. Many thanks for the effort! The accommodation itself was fantastic. It was a bit chilly during our stay, so the stove was perfect for warming up and getting cozy in the evenings. A small heads-up for future guests: if there’s a strong storm (as was the case during our visit), smoke from the stove might be pushed back into the house. Just something to be mindful of. But honestly, that was the only minor issue — otherwise, this was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at, and for a truly fair price.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The apartment was so clean, modern and comfortable with beautiful outdoor areas. The location could not have been better - near good restaurants, sites, and within walking distance to the beach. Our host was very responsive and provided clear instructions.

This was an amazing place to stay. Incredible views and a great base to explore the west part of the island from. Just need to watch the hot water with the solar. We ran out over a couple of cloudy days. Will definitely be back. Carlos was responsive and helpful

Excellent house for our extended family group of 8. The pool is not heated so it’s a bit cold, but the backyard is very peaceful and the house is well equipped and a great home base to explore the island. It’s right outside Ponta Delgada and easy to pop into town. Highly recommend.

Carlos’s place was as described. It was very clean and had all the necessities. Carlos was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions I had. It was fairly easy to locate his family home with GPS. It was approximately 1 hour from Ponta Delgada. The little town was quaint and authentic. I would love to visit again.
