Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Furano

Nice stay, it’s a different place as it’s a coffee shop which is used as an air BnB it seems but it was good! It would benefit from some darker blinds and maybe a sofa to relax instead of just coffee tables and chairs. Location and host were excellent, we would stay again!

Karl’s Airbnb was a perfect and cosy place to stay at during our trip around Hokkaido. It was in a perfect location and in driving distance to the start of many hikes, including Asahidake and the Daisetzusan national park but also to the city Asahikawa. For those without a car, it is in walking distance to a supermarket, a 7/11 and many restaurants, and also not to forget the cafe next door which sells delicious coffee! The Airbnb itself had all the amenities you need including washing machine, fridge, microwave, parking spot etc. Communication with Karl was great and he was very prompt in replying to any questions we had and making sure that we had a lovely stay. We cant wait to come back to Hokkaido and stay here again!

A cozy house with lots of space for my family of 5. The best thing is that with 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms, nobody has to wait too long for anyone to start the day seeing the sights. Do note that the house is located in Biei. It will be a bit of a drive (20 minutes thereabouts) to Furano where the farms and fields are. But it is a very scenic drive all way. A definite hit with the children (and gamers) with the Nintendo and PS game machines. Host David was very responsive and helpful when I needed help with my car rental.

Before check in The host was always quick to respond to our questions and needs prior to our stay and provided a precise response to help us resolve many of our queries effectively. -------------------------------- Checking in 1. Space & Facilities The common space is large enough to accommodate multiple people at the same time for chat and social needs.The overall environment is comfortable and kept clean and tidy. There are plenty of toilets and bathrooms to cater for the use of multiple guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for all culinary needs.Also, the open kitchen is designed to allow people to interact with other guests, even if they are busy cooking, without missing any chat moments. 2. Location The homestay is about 10 minutes on foot from Kitacho Peaku, and the transportation is convenient. The surrounding area has multiple dining options, including restaurants with food trucks, and is walkable to Lawson convenient store for good living. 3. Service staff The host was greeted in person, friendly, and made people feel like friends, without a sense of distance.It was always quick to respond and help when we raised our needs, which was really appreciated. -------------------------------- Check out Our mobile bus is scheduled to depart at 3pm, well past Check-out time.The host generously offered the living room as a luggage drop off area and open space for us to rest and use the toilet.We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your thoughtfulness and tolerance as this may have impacted the timeframe of the housekeeping. -------------------------------- Wrap up This is an extremely comfortable choice to stay with impeccable performance in every way.I would be more than happy to stay at this quality homestay again!

Maruko was a wonderful host. It was a cold and rainy day when we arrived and the heater was left on so we wouldn’t be cold. The place was very clean (rooms, kitchen, bathroom), as described in the listing. We had a wonderful time staying and would definitely recommend.

It was a villa with a lovely wood scent.I am very satisfied with the cleanliness, tidiness, and the furniture.Also, the area is quiet and the scenery is very good.It is less than a 10-minute drive to the city center of Higashi Chikuma and has good access.There were plenty of nice shops around the center of the city, so I had no trouble finding food.I had dinner in the city and used a return agent to get home for 2,900 yen. However, the stairs are steep and there is no fence, so I think it would be difficult for people with bad legs to get to the bed on the second floor. It is possible for children to slip and fall from a height of nearly 2 meters, so if you have small children, it is best to keep an eye on them indoors. I didn't fall into either category, so even if I was drunk, I could get to bed, so there was no particular problem.

The apartment was well equipped and very cozy. It is very clean and offers all required equipment. The apartment is close to the city center and also offers a parking spot. We would definitely go back! Thanks again.

The Lavender Breeze Furano House is a charming stay located on the 1st floor, making it easily accessible. The check-in instructions were straightforward and hassle-free, ensuring a smooth arrival. The house is well-equipped with all the promised amenities, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were exceptionally cozy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep, and the location was fantastic—close to local attractions while remaining peaceful. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Great place to stay when visiting the snow, especially with a car when you can park right out the front. Just don’t recommend this room if you can’t climb stairs (as it is upstairs). Close to restaurants, grocery shops and others by both car and walk. Enough in the accommodation that you can cook an easy meal at home.

Tiny but functional place. Will do the job well if you plan to spend your days on the slopes or visiting around. Yuki and Kukan were warm welcoming and very responsive. Would rent again.

This place is amazing. My big family and I were so impressed and had a great rest ever. The location is just perfect for someone who likes a quiet area and close to famous hotspots in Asahikawa! Please note that it’s on the third floor without the lift; however, the host offers a free parking spot. I just loved this place so much that I wanted to stay for a month instead of two days. :) I wish to comeback for winter.

The place was clean and we found everything we needed to cook here. It was very close to the station and easy to reach. All necessary information was given and the host always responded right away.

Three bedroom apartment on the 5th floor had amazing views from all rooms. We enjoyed the space. We had difficulty getting in as they sent the wrong code but it was rectified immediately which was impressive. It is a hard walk in the snow with ski gear as it is an uphill walk but luckily we had a car and used the carpark at the gondola. The car parking next to the accomodation was reserved for those that had a permit which we paid a small fee for and this was worth it. Would definitely stay again if we were to return.

This place was perfect for our family of 6. We could walk to local restaurants and it was close to parks and the Zoo. It was clean and had everything we required. Could not fault it. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect; a short walk to the Kitanomine Gondola and restaurants nearby. The host was friendly and gave clear instructions.

Very beautiful room, view, nature is nearby, and a supermarket is next door.What else could I possibly want? When I entered the room, I was impressed by the hospitality sweets that were placed there. If you are traveling to Asahikawa, this facility is one of the options, although it is away from the city. The zoo is also close by, so the location is great. I would like to stay here again. My kids rated this place as their best Airbnb experience. We travelled as a family of 4 elderly, 3 kids and 2 adults. The place is very spacious and kinda newly renovated, we definitely felt at home during the stay. There were toys, games, magazines to keep us entertained. So glad to have met Miki cooking delicious curry on our way out, its a pity that we didn't have chance to try it as we are out almost whole day. Based on smell, I can tell it should be very tasty. Bout the smell, there was hardly any when we come back every night. This place is like one of the highlight in our trip, very convenient when travelling around Furano and Asahikawa.
