In winter, you can enjoy its beauty and harmony. The village is about 30 minutes by car from Torre (the highest point of Serra da Estrela), 30 minutes from Seia and 40 minutes from Covilhã.

A multitude of historic sights and outdoor activities are catered for in the surrounding area.

Porta 25 Guesthouse

Situada no centro histórico da cidade da Covilhã, criámos para si a Porta 25, com uma decoração contemporânea e urbana. A fully restored 1947 house, located in the center of the village of Chãos, where you will find a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Access to it is through a lock code made available on the day of check-in. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. There is a balcony with a barbecue area for grilling, and you can also take walks or bike rides from the accommodation, nearby. Relax with the magnificent view of Serra da Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, on the terrace available.

The house is located in Cabeça, a small village right in Serra da Estrela Natural Park. It's only 24km distance to The Torre (Tower), the highest point of Mainland Portugal. We believe there's a little something for everyone in Cabeça, we can accomodate couples, single people, groups up to 6 people, families, and even pets! Breakfast with traditional food is avaliable upon request on reservation.

It is a renovated stone house located above the village fountain, popular in the surrounding area for its pure water. Novelães is a very quiet village just 5 km from the foot of Serra da Estrela between Gouveia and Seia. The house has a large space with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy silence and peace, walk through the woods and visit the surrounding natural attractions.

Uma casa lindíssima do século xv situada no poente de Monsanto com vistas espetaculares.Muito sossego e calma. Design arriscado com penedos enormes à vista, decorada com objectos antigos de Monsanto. Tentaremos manter uma ligação com os hóspedes em termos de máxima hospitalidade mas com respeito pela privacidade. É servido um pequeno almoço frugal incluído no preço.

Quinta das Sesmarias

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.
