Vacation rentals with an accessible height toilet in Funchal

The house is lovely! It has everything you need to spend a few days with friends or family together. We had a barbecue outside one evening. The inside could benefit from warmer lighting, especially in the dining area. WiFi only worked in the lounge. Location wise, you need a car to get there. The nearest town is the pretty village of camara des lobos, with good restaurants options. But you won’t be able to reach it unless you have a car.

Had a very nice stay here, beautiful house and view. Lovely private yard/garden. Easy check-in instructions and parking, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The only comment is that this did not actually reserve the entire guest house as is described, it was "only" the bottom floor. This was fine for me, but as it's an old house, you could quite clearly hear the guests on the upper floor - this wasn't a problem as they weren't exceptionally loud, but just want to mention that it was shared. Thanks for the nice stay!! 😊

Eigenlijk komen we woorden tekort. Het was geweldig! De woning is prachtig, zoals beschreven en te bewonderen op de foto's. Het verwarmde zwembad is een kadootje waar we aan het eind van de dag ( na het wandelen) veel gebruik van maakten. Bruno is een perfecte host. Zeer betrokken, checkt met regelmaat dmv een appje of alles in orde is of dat we iets nodig hadden, gaf tips over bezienswaardigheden en verwende ons met zijn producten. De koekjes worden ook hier thuis goed gekeurd Bruno! Bruno had voor ons een huurauto geregeld: zo goed als nieuw, geschikt om mee te rijden in de bergen en voor een goede prijs. We hadden in de recensies gelezen over de krappe parkeer plaats, maar dit heeft Bruno opgelost. Er is een ruime parkeer plaats direct in de buurt van de woning aangelegd dus parkeren is geen probleem. Madeira, de woning en Bruno zijn prachtig, een echte aanrader!

It was a very nice and calm check in, he showed us everthing including flyers and information about the region and even tho he lived in the same house we barely noticed it, so 5 stars in every way and Recommendation to stay at this place while exploring madeira !!!!

Es war alles super! Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Der Empfang durch Davis Mutter war herzlich und die bereitgestellten Früchte aus dem eigenen Garten haben vor allem unserem Sohn gefallen, der direkt eine Banane haben wollte. Die Terasse war perfekt, das Kind konnte dort gut spielen. Die Lage war für uns super. Supermärkte in der Nähe, der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar, wenn auch sehr steile Wege. Mit dem Auto ist man aber superschnell überall. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen, auch für Familien mit Kindern. Es ist an alles gedacht. Vielen Dank!

Great accommodation, very spacious, in a relatively quiet location. The welcome was very friendly. We tried to cook, next time we would appreciate a proper kitchen knife, but we managed, the kitchen equipment is otherwise more than sufficient. Definitely recommend!

The location of this apartment was great! Lots of good food around, and just a couple minutes to walk to the beach. We really loved the part of town where this is. Everything was clean and nicely set up. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the building. The bed was comfortable, check in was easy and with super high ceilings it felt very spacious. She gave us advice about where to park for free. It was about .25 mile away, and the weekend had free parking even closer. Apple Maps and google maps were both slightly wrong when routing us- but we ended up asking around and routing to a restaurant right next door to find it.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Good Memories Lodge. The place was amazingly comfortable, the parking was closeby in Parque St. Lucia, and the location was very central to be able to easily explore Funchal without a car. Cesar and Erica were both very helpful and responsive both on checking in and checking out. They gave us a list of amenities that we can easily use in the city and closeby. I made a mistake whilst booking as I forgot to book the first night as it was a travel day - Cesar helped us as much as he could for checking in the next day and allowed us to change the check in time. The accomodation is very modern and one of the best we've been in during our stay.

My experience with this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The location was excellent, close to everything I needed, and the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He was very responsive to messages and even went the extra mile by providing airport pickup and drop-off, which made my trip so much more convenient. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. I felt right at home during my stay. I highly recommend this host and would definitely book with him again in the future!

O apartamento de Caniço estava em excelentes condições e com as comodidades necessárias. A localização também era ótima, porque as redondezas eram calmas e fica a 15 minutos de carro do Funchal e outras atrações. Aconselho vivamente!

Die Wohnung war perfekt für uns. Es war sehr sauber, gutes WLAN und gut ausgestattet mit alles was man braucht um dort drei Wochen zu leben. Die Lage ist etwa 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß bergab zur Promenade - sie liegt in einer ruhigeren Wohngegend und hat einen kostenloser Parkplatz. Der Blick auf Ozean war fantastisch. Die Wohnung befindet sich in der Nähe von Supermarkt ( 3 Min. zu Fuß) und Einkaufszentrum ( 10 Min. zu Fuß). Es gibt einige lokale Restaurants in der Nähe und Bushaltestelle vor der Haustür. Man konnte mit dem Bus fahren oder zu Fuß (4-5 km) in die touristische Innenstadt von Funchal. Maria antwortete schnell auf englischsprachige Nachrichten. Sie hat uns sehr viele Tipps gegeben und war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Stayed for over 2-months at Jacque's apartment and had a great time there. The apartment is exactly like the photos: spacious, clean, and with fantastic ocean views. I found the location to be excellent, less than a 10-min walk into the local town where there are shops, cafes, and supermarkets. The local botanical garden, Quinta Splendida, is also very close by and well-worth a visit (free entrance and has a great cafe). As a host, Jacque was excellent: very friendly, responsive, and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jacque's apartment to other AirBnB guests. 10/10.

Just 500meters from the main streets of Funchal its extremely easy to walk around from the apartment.

Thank you Ana the apartment was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! brilliantly spacious, beautiful sea and restaurant views from the balcony, private sunbathing balcony and an almost private pool on the rooftop. the location is perfect to walk down to the seafront or to funchal centre. with brilliant buses just across the road. A really well stocked supermarket is a few minutes walk away and a well equipped kitchen made it super easy to cook at the apartment. I really reccomend Anas apartment we would certainly come back to wlexplore more of the beautiful island. Ana was a perfect host with a wonderful welcome pack when we arrived. Thank you again!
