Although it was an old-fashioned Japanese house, the bathroom and bath were new and clean, and I had a very comfortable stay.The windows were large and the view from the room was fantastic.I was with a 1.5-year-old child, and they provided a baby chair and a diaper changing mat.I was very grateful for the host's frequent contact and for politely providing information about the area and the local temperature.I would definitely like to stay again next time I come to Fukui.

We were a family of 6 staying in this beautiful Airbnb overlooking the river. The house was perfect, absolutely no complaints. Host was very responsive when I asked questions. We would love to stay at such a luxurious place again next time!

8 of us used it, and it was very well equipped We had a comfortable stay. Also, the weather on the day was bad and the temperature was low, but the wood stoves inside and outside were fresh and warm, and it was great. I want to book next time during a warm season.

The experience of this home, the amenities that came with the place, and the surroundings were all perfect! The home is beautiful and has a great balance for great comfort and enjoyment. The location on the beach was convenient with the home being only a minute walk away from delicious dining! Additionally, our dogs were accommodated as well which made the family experience complete. Thank you for the amazing stay!

We really enjoyed the house itself, as it was so very comfortable and perfectly located, but also the local restaurants. There is a great yakitori place called Iburu very close to the house, which I highly recommend. It was a little pricey but some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever tasted. Also, a new coffee shop called Pinecone was a really nice discovery. They don’t open till noon, but the young owner is a fluent English speaker who loves to chat with the customers. He also sells a selection of craft beers (in cans) from around Japan. We bought those to take home and enjoyed drinking them at the house in the evening. A lovely 125 year old Japanese sweet shop is close by, too. And the hot springs! Finally, on our way home back to Shiga, we stopped at a little place called Ippei Sushi. The best sushi I’ve ever had. ¥2,200 for a lunch set fit for a king. You should get there before 11! All in all it was a spectacular holiday. We look forward to going again next year.

What a magical place! We were there for 3 nights in total and we had the best time. It’s in such an idyllic location with stunning scenery. The hosts are the loveliest couple and are so happy to help with anything. Even if you don’t have a car like us the transport links from Kyoto and Osaka are amazing and makes it really accessible. We would love to come back in the future

Our family and 3 furkids love this home very much. The house is beautiful with good amenities. We even had BBQ catered for us and we enjoyed it out on the porch! The surroundings were scenic with many parks, farm lands and snow capped mountains. The furkids had amenities provided and it was very thoughtful of the owner. There were a few very good dog friendly restaurants too! Good recommendations from the friendly owner. Overall a lovely stay if you enjoy nature and hikes.

First of all, I would like to particularly mention that both the hosts were tremendously accommodating. They were so helpful and friendly. They even went beyond their way and offer us their personal sake for dinner! The accommodation was very quiet and peaceful. Just the right location to get away from the bustling cities and crowds. Will definitely return!

I stayed at Jun-san’s Airbnb for one night during a cycling trip. It was one of my favorite Airbnb experiences. First, the accommodations were awesome: the mattress was very comfortable, the living room with the sofa was cozy. Very bike friendly with a large garage to safely put your bike. While there is no tub at the Airbnb there is a bathhouse very close by. I loved Jun-san’s local recommendations of restaurants as well. Most importantly, I learned a lot about the temple and the specific school of Buddhism that Jun-san practices. This is a very unique Airbnb that you should definitely check out if you are interested in learning about a part of Japanese culture!

Although in general it feels good to stay in Japan, this experience is better than before.Although it is cold winter outside, Aoki's home is very warm and comfortable, and there are many good food and drinks, and I really appreciate the hospitality every day.The location of the homestay is somewhat biased, but he will pick up and drop off at Ogaki, Suko or Gifuhashima Station every day, so you don't have to worry about traffic at all. This time, I visited many places of interest in Gifu.I hope you have a healthy and long life, and I hope to have the opportunity to meet again in the future!
