It wasn't a trip where I could relax at the accommodation with a 7:30 pm check-in and 8:00 am check-out, but the combination of the host's attentive service, the inconvenience of using an old house, and the cleanly arranged atmosphere soothed my mind.♪ I think it's a good location for an early morning walk It's also convenient because it's close to the highway! Considering the price, I didn't mind the bathroom toilet, having to go outside (only 2 steps), or the small bathroom There is a hot spring and a supermarket nearby There are also tourist destinations I'll take my time this time! Thank you.

Honestly, the place was a little inconvenient because there were no vending machines or convenience stores nearby, but otherwise it was really good and I really enjoyed it!If you buy plenty of drinks, you don't need vending machines, so I think it's great if you buy plenty of drinks, you won't feel inconvenienced!It was very good because the explanation was also kind!

We stayed one night with a large group of 19 people, and even though we were many, the house is so spacious that it never felt crowded. The two bathrooms were a big help for a group this size, and the ofuro (Japanese bath) area was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, which made things much easier when preparing meals. It’s truly a wonderful place to spend a night — or even longer. Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms hadn’t bloomed yet during our stay, but I can only imagine how stunning the view must be during sakura season. The large windows facing the lake offer a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The futons and covers were extremely clean, which we really appreciated. The only small challenge was putting the bedding on the futons ourselves. But I understand it has to be like that. The owner/manager was very polite and welcoming, which made our experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended!

It was my first time using it, but the service was very smooth and I had a worry-free stay. Also, the facility was actually larger and cleaner than it looked in the photos, and I was very satisfied. I'd love to stay again if I have a large group in Gifu. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the house itself, as it was so very comfortable and perfectly located, but also the local restaurants. There is a great yakitori place called Iburu very close to the house, which I highly recommend. It was a little pricey but some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever tasted. Also, a new coffee shop called Pinecone was a really nice discovery. They don’t open till noon, but the young owner is a fluent English speaker who loves to chat with the customers. He also sells a selection of craft beers (in cans) from around Japan. We bought those to take home and enjoyed drinking them at the house in the evening. A lovely 125 year old Japanese sweet shop is close by, too. And the hot springs! Finally, on our way home back to Shiga, we stopped at a little place called Ippei Sushi. The best sushi I’ve ever had. ¥2,200 for a lunch set fit for a king. You should get there before 11! All in all it was a spectacular holiday. We look forward to going again next year.

What a magical place! We were there for 3 nights in total and we had the best time. It’s in such an idyllic location with stunning scenery. The hosts are the loveliest couple and are so happy to help with anything. Even if you don’t have a car like us the transport links from Kyoto and Osaka are amazing and makes it really accessible. We would love to come back in the future

Keita’s place is the best stay of my entire trip in Japan. I went with a family of four (2 adults 2 kids) and the place has a very spacious interior and with car park, outdoor dining and bbq area. 20 mins to Gransnow Okuibuki during winter which is a paradise to skiers and kids to play snow. The house has additional units of warmer which kept us warm during our stay. Owner gave us a surprise visit and curry packs as souvenir made from his own radish farm!

Three families, my parents and my sister's family, used it. It was wonderful, with everything you need, spacious rooms, and plenty of things for the kids to play with, so we were very happy. For people, it is a very nice place to stay. There are two air conditioners to make the house warm and comfortable. Thick and warm blankets. There is a floor table with a Japanese electric blanket, which the son loves. The kitchen does not have knives and cutting boards, but there are enough pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. There is no elevator. If a large suitcase or a person is old, it may not be convenient. For me, which is hard to sleep, easily awake, I could hear the car running in the early evening and the sound of the washing machine of the room next door, but it was not a problem with my husband and kids at all.

Our family and 3 furkids love this home very much. The house is beautiful with good amenities. We even had BBQ catered for us and we enjoyed it out on the porch! The surroundings were scenic with many parks, farm lands and snow capped mountains. The furkids had amenities provided and it was very thoughtful of the owner. There were a few very good dog friendly restaurants too! Good recommendations from the friendly owner. Overall a lovely stay if you enjoy nature and hikes.

If you can park in front of the self-driving house, there is a supermarket nearby, you can buy everything you need for daily food, close to Hakodate Mountain ski resort, ski back and forth is very convenient, the house is clean, there is a dishwasher in the kitchen, cooling and heating equipment, washing machine, the house is set up feels like home, it is good.

My husband and I stayed with a couple of dogs. The day before, on the way back to Kyoto, I stayed in Ohama and found it because I wanted to stay another night. Located in the villa zone along Kuxi Road.So it's quiet and you'll have no trouble walking. In the evening walk, we walked the cycling road on Kawai Road to see the snow scenery on the other side. The room was also laid back, easy to do housework, and very relaxing with the dog. It is recommended.

I stayed with you while the snow scenery remained.The accommodation was overall clean and the kitchen area was clean.When I entered the accommodation, I was warmed up in advance, so there was no hassle to warm it up from the beginning, and it was comfortable.

We loved our stay at Maki's place! The house is huge, has an awesome kitchen, and is within walking distance to the lake. We would definitely stay again!

Thank you for letting me stay.Located in a quiet Lake Okubiwa, Osaki Sakura is within walking distance in spring.The smell of the new tatami mats was shallow and refreshing. I didn't know the entrance to the road in front of the facility.I don't think it would be troublesome if you gave me a photo of the old laundry/water station.(It was a check-in around midnight, but the host was well taken care of by phone.) However, it was well equipped and the living room was a very pleasant stay. This is an amazing town if you enjoy beaches and mountains, and the house is right on the beach! The house is spacious, clean with great amenities. The washer/dryer combination was an excellent touch, as was the full size refrigerator. The owner was there to walk us through everything including setting up the television for us to use his Amazon Fire stick for our use. At the end he even gave me a gift as thanks for staying! I had friends over for dinner and they were thoroughly impressed with the modern beauty of the house. And that tub is amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

This was a very pleasant surprise, the scenery in this town is like from a movie, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was, our hist was extremely nice , she allow us to stay a bit more so we had enough time for breakfast. The house is very nice spacious clean, my only regret was that i didn’t stay more time. Is worth the travel there would definitely would advise stay at least two days. Thanks so much for all your help and hospitality.
