The countryside is alive with the sound of nature

A place to remember to take it easy. There are many reasons why people visit this place.People who come on vacation, people who come to make something, people who want to reconnect with someone important, people who just want to be in a place where nothing is asked of them.Everyone stays longer than planned. At an altitude of 650 m, it is in the mountains where it is cool even in summer.Swim in the Kurisu River and go to the Gujo Odori Festival at night. About the Facilities: The entire building is for rent.2 bedrooms, 8 futons (for up to 10 people), a fully equipped kitchen where you can use local ingredients, and a garden for relaxing mornings and evenings around the campfire.Wherever you look, you can see the valley. A place called Gujo Yamato: This part of Gifu is a quiet and beautiful area known as the "Village of Ancient and Modern Teaching".It's far from tourist attractions, but it's close to something that's hard to put into words. There is not much signal, but most guests say they don't mind. Long stays are also welcome.Pets are also allowed. A car is required. Studded tires are recommended from November to March.

Whole House | Kanazawa–Shirakawago | 350yr Gassho

This is a renovated Gassho house, 350 years old, offered as a whole-house rental. The house has supported many lives over time, and its original structure remains largely unchanged. It is not a finished modern space, but one where traces of time and the natural texture of wood are still felt. Cold drafts and creaking sounds are part of its character. Staying here may feel less like a hotel, and more like life in a lived-in home. If we explained everything, it would probably become boring.
