Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Fuji Five Lakes

We enjoyed our stay at HAOSTAY for our day trip to Mt Fuji! The hotel has breathtaking views of Mt Fuji. Check was in easy and they held our luggage until our rook was ready. We love the welcome snacks and keychain welcoming us. Room was just as described and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The free breakfast was lovely and Theresa rooftop terrace to take in the views of Mt Fuji while drinking your coffee. The only complaint of our stay was the downstairs cafe was offering two dinner options, since it was raining the first night we got there, we opted in for the dinner at the hotel. The food was good but when we went to go pay, the waitress says it cash only which caught us by surprise as there was no signs or we were told this was cash only. Thankfully we had some cash but there were other patrons dining at the same time who also wasn’t aware and didn’t have cash on them which led them to walk to the nearest store in the rain to take cash out.

Traveling to remote mountainous locations, well away from the bustle of a city can be daunting for travelers. However, the incredible team at Kakurinbo Buddhist Temple is exceptional in every way. They truly made our trip to Kakurinbo quite incredible. Saeko, Sho, and the many other wonderful team members are special in their ability to help you feel so comfortable and at home in their temple accommodations. We are eager to return for sure.

Our host Jun was extremely accommodating by picking us up/dropping us off at various bus/train stations during our stay. He advised us for activities in the area, places to eat, etc. The evening meal offered is excellent and cheap. The accommodation is close to the departure of a little known tourist hike that offers a magnificent view of Mount Fuji upon arrival. Great experience!

Our stay at Hakone Tent went very well. The hospitality is very nice. The place is very nice, warm as well as being accompanied by its onsens for a relaxing time. Serious host that I would highly recommend! Thank you.

Unbelieveable experience in a fantastic location minutes from Gora station, and in an authentic ryokan. The private onsen was incredible and so relaxing. Our hosts gave us clear instructions on how to use the facilities (and food recommendations!), and everyone spoke English well. We enjoyed sleeping on the tatami mats, but they won't suit every traveller. The bar and shared kitchen downstairs has a lovely community vibe, and we really enjoyed spending time talking with other visitors there in the evenings. We had a wonderful time and we hope to stay again.

Hakonetent was amazing! The Staff was so incredibly kind and helped us with organising things in Japanese. Would definitely recommend it and will come back!

Hisashi's place was our first experience in Airbnb, and it was very peaceful and smooth and nice. Hisashi help us for everything and we had a great breakfast there. If you want to see Fuji mnt. This place definitely works ❤️

It was not as noisy as the reviews stated. I think the only thing that made a lot of noise are the doors open and closing and the occasional footsteps but other than that, if youre lucky with the guests there’s not a lot of noise. Place is also very cozy and close to the cable car and railway. Very perfect for those with the hakone free pass. Staffs are also very helpful!

This Airbnb truly felt like a home away from home! Hiroki’s old Japanese house was so cozy and inviting, with a comfortable bed in tatami floors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I especially loved the little details, like the well-stocked kitchen and the cozy reading nook. Hiroki personally prepared our breakfast which is really great by the way! Thanks so much!
