We enjoyed our visit with our family over New Year for three nights. Luis was a very helpful host and always responded quickly to any questions. We appreciated the freshly baked cake on arrival and on the second morning some treats from the bakery. We particularly enjoyed seeing the fireworks from the exclusive resort of the opposite side of the river for New Year. We popped open a bottle of bubbles to share on the rooftop terrace with a fabulous view at midnight. Great atmosphere. Would be fun to return during the summer months to enjoy the lovely pool.

A great house to be very quiet 8 people. It is very equipped and has no lack of a detail to be quiet. Quiet area 5m from freeway. We have been in winter but this house in summer will be worthy to enjoy it to the fullest. Communication with Sonia has always been very quick and attentive to everything we needed.

Our family of 5 loved our stay in the Chalet. It is in such beautiful surroundings overlooking a waterfall & in a great location for many walks as well as nearby local restaurants. The chalet was warm & comfortable with everything we needed. Pedro’s recommendations & local knowledge was really appreciated. Would love to stay again - highly recommend!

Luisa is a great host: very kind and friendly! She has surprised us with a rich breakfast full of local veggies from the garden and traditional bread from the region. Her suggestions have also helped us to come with a road trip plan for the next day. Very picturesque scenery, great views, comfortable, thoughtful and cozy house with modern equipment and stylish furniture. Everything was clean and functioned amazingly. We were more than satisfied! If we come back to Douro Valley again, we'd definitely make a stop there again!

Excellent stay for several families with kids. The estate is beautiful and well maintained, the pools are nice to cool off in during a heat wave. The hospitality is perfect. The villa is incredible! Numerous rooms with storage and plenty of space. Numerous bathrooms. Very spacious living and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (coffee machine, utensils, toaster etc.) The game room is a huge plus for rainy days. The pool is cold, but perfect for cooling off, and once in it is very nice. We had a great vacation in this amazing house! There are beautiful river beaches nearby, beautiful views as well. You have to love calm and nature because there are no big cities within an hour (the closest is Coimbra) but supermarkets 5 min away for groceries ;) The house is 1.5 hours from Porto and 2.5 hours from Lisbon, ideal for a day trip :) Thanks to Karen and her spouse for hosting us :) You can book without so much as a second thought!

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

It has been a stay of total disconnection, a lot of tranquility, everything is perfect. The house is as seen and described in the listing, it does not lack anything, the beds are very comfortable, the beds are very comfortable, we have enjoyed the barbecue and the good weather. Jesús Manuel is a very nice person who is very nice at all times has shown interest because the stay was 10, he recommended places to visit, routes leaving the house very nice to do as a family at all times available. A stay of 10 of course we will repeat 100% recommended.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a two-story house. Susana the host lives upstairs and was very friendly at all times. He told us about places, routes and restaurants. Attentive to everything we needed, he helped us a lot, and responded very quickly. The town is very well connected with everything recommended to visit and good roads with a beautiful landscape. The house for 4 is perfect, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and very warm. A place to return to, highly recommended.

Great hosting. The apartment is very comfortable, with all the necessary equipment. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the historic center, markets and good restaurants (highlight the Bella Ciao pizzeria). Easy to park in front of the apartment or very close by, on the main street. The reception was excellent, the Cati was very welcoming and friendly, showed us the whole place and gave us tips about the city, as well as having left bread, butter, milk, juice and various other products available for our stay. Thank you!!! It will certainly be our choice if we return to Ciudad Rodrigo.

Great location, somewhat remote, close to Vouzela. The proximity of Ecopista (walking/biking trail) is a big bonus: you can walk to nearby towns through beautiful nature, cute houses and vineyards. The co-host, Fatima, was very helpful with advice, suggestions and recommendations. The house itself is beautifully renovated and furnished, and very clean.

Accommodation to enjoy it at all times, every corner very cared for and with many nice details. Located outside Amarante, in a very quiet area. Unbeatable barbecue and pool area, ideal for spending a few days with the family. The house is not very big, but it is well used and lacks nothing. On the other hand, Paulo's attention is worthy of praise, caring at every moment of our well-being, and counting on the help of wonderful neighbors who made us the stay very pleasant and pleasant. Without a doubt, the quality/price is more than recommended, we would repeat with our eyes closed now that we know Paulo and his surroundings.
