My family and I stayed for the month of March and loved every minute! The Carroll's place was absolutely wonderful and had great amenities for the beach that our young daughter enjoyed. Coffee on the porch in the mornings was so peaceful following the sunrise which was a quick walk away! We for sure hope to be back in the future. Thank y'all for the wonderful hospitality!

My stay was absolutely amazing! The host was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming she made sure everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. You can tell she really cares about her guests and puts a lot of love into her hosting. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. This house was great for a month! It was very clean and had all the essentials in the kitchen. The screened in patio was great to relax in. Bed was super comfortable. The only issues we had was the couch. It wasn't very comfy and the cushions would sink. Also the pillows on there had a body odor stink. There is no dedicated workplace either. We had monitors on the kitchen bar area which worked but there are no desks. All in all I would highly recommend this place! Great location, close to downtown Southport and Oak Island Beach. Plenty of restaurants!

Kate's Place has been my go to place to stay when vacationing in Southport. Kate is a thoughtful and friendly Host. Kate's Place is perfectly located from downtown Southport, the Ferry to nearby Bald Head Island and Wilmington. It is only a short drive to Oak Island. Kate's Place is a perfect place for a single visitor. I always feel right at home.
