The accommodation in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with a private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former elementary school 150 meters from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage Site, where you can intensively enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can accommodate up to 5 people. Children can have fun on the trampoline, on the grass/football field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

U slaapt op de begane grond (2 sk + eigen badk.+eigen keuken+ eigen grote woonkamer (50 m2) met hoge plafonts en openhaard. eigen ingang. 3e slaapkamer is boven via het voorhuis. Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. Next to our small nature campsite (this is only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful vacation home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
