Waterfront vacation rentals in Freiburg

We loved our stay at Michael’s train depot. It is easy to find and such a historic building. We loved getting a tour of it. Our kids enjoyed the games and activities and Michael has lots of extras, trampoline, sports activities, games to make your stay cozy. Though right by the train, we hardly heard it and so easy to get around. We visited Strasbourg and Baden Baden and ate at great restaurants within walking distance. We look forward to visiting again.

We stayed with the children (15 and 18) for less than a week in Thomas's apartment and felt right at home. The location is quiet and you can walk to the lake in a few minutes. The nearest bus stop is only 100 m away, so you can easily reach all destinations on the Höri (and all of Lake Constance). I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a great time in Todtnau! The apartment is new, modern and very clean. Particularly noteworthy are the well-equipped kitchen – no wish was left unfulfilled – as well as the generous room layout, which offers plenty of space. We would come back any time!

Irina was super kind and sent us all the necessary information in advance ☺️ for questions, she was always available and helpful. The apartment was super nice, stocked with everything necessary and we all felt at home.. the camps were great! We would come back anytime! Thank you again, thank you. ❤️

The property is highly recommended. Freudenstadt (the nearest town) is easily accessible on foot or by bus. Due to the tourist tax, it is definitely worth using the public transport. (Stop right by the house). Freudenstadt offers great restaurants, a huge market square, some museums and all sorts of shops for strolling. For all nature lovers, you can either start immediately from the accommodation or explore the All Saints Waterfalls, for example, by car. The apartment is well furnished with everything you need. Even a wood-burning stove for the cold days is available. Sara and Tassilo are very nice hosts and definitely worth a (or more) visit! For us, a very clear recommendation :)

Florian offers high-quality houses, easy check-in, right next to the church in the city center, with beautiful views of the Rhine from the window. The amenities are clean and complete. Parking is convenient, transport links are good, and everything is easily accessible. Five-star quality, recommended.

The apartment is in one of the most charming alleys of the old city, caressed by a suggestive canal overlooked by the three bright windows (which can be darkened at night). Next to the entrance, there are two nice places to eat and drink something good; the general atmosphere is soft and the night is very quiet. With a few steps – or in any case using the tram, two minutes away – you have all the most significant places in the city at your disposal. The accommodation, on the first floor, is reached by a short flight of stairs. The interior is well maintained and cleaned with great care, tastefully furnished, with warm tones and materials, and equipped with every comfort. The kitchen is small but functional. Ultimately, a very charming stay but, at the same time, very practical and pleasant. Check-in was held remotely due to my delay, but everything went very well: Christine is communicative, kind, and ready to give directions. Thank you very much, I'll be back

Karin and Wolfgang welcomed me very warmly and I immediately felt welcome in your house. They are very helpful and always available, wonderful conversation partners and tipsters and you feel comfortable and arrived from the beginning. It's all absolutely straightforward and it's the perfect place to relax or be active in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is optimal. Super clean and tidy, friendly furnishings and flooded with light. The sunny balcony offers a magnificent view of the surrounding nature and invites you to relax. The kitchen and bathroom leave absolutely nothing to be desired. The bed is very comfortable and guarantees a good night's sleep together with the incredible silence. It was easily one of the best Airbnb stays we've ever had. The place is so spacious and well designed. From the sun room to the garden to the fully equipped kitchen and the fireplace. It was the perfect home base for our family of five to travel all over the black forest. Sam and Jenny were always a text away for every question we had, and we're very helpful and welcoming. The lake is just a 5 minute walk from the house, and the market is just as close. We loved it, and highly recommend it on a visit to the black forest

We had a wonderful stay at the Bachhäusle! The place was very clean, super nicely renovated and equipped with everything you need for a few relaxing days. We especially liked the quiet location in the middle of nature – ideal for switching off and relaxing. The host Monika was very friendly and helpful. We would come back anytime and can recommend the cottage without reservation. Thank you for the wonderful time!

This was truly the most beautiful home and location. We drove from Basel and it was easy to find. Great amenities. The home was absolutely spotless and well equipped. It was just stunning. With the views from full length windows to the stream and being able to walk out in to the forest. There were local goats which were a big hit with the kids. We had a teenage boy and 7 year old girl and both loved it. If you have kids, there is a theme park about 1 hour or so away and a beautiful swimming complex about 20 mins away. But honestly, just staying at the house and hiking was the best. I would stay here again and would highly recommend. The hosts met us to let us in and changed our check-in when our flight times were changed by the airline which helped so much. I can not fault it. Perfection.

The Gerberhaus is beautiful - the pictures only give you an idea! It is so comprehensive and lovingly equipped that you really don't miss anything (even in the kitchen!). We felt very comfortable! If the internet connection were better, we would definitely be there regularly in the future, but the landlord can't do anything about that :)

We liked Ronny and Manuela's apartment very much. It is pretty, very clean and functionally furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen. Access via an external spiral staircase to the attic apartment was no problem for us, but for people with a fear of heights or physical impairments, this would not be the suitable accommodation. The brochures about attractions and hiking trails in the area were very helpful. Location is absolutely quiet.

Excellent stay at Ramona's apartment. Close to bus stops and train station. We used the Bodensee card extensively to get around. And the icing on the cake, the weather was splendid during the week. Very nice area, flowery and gardens widely decorated for the Easter holidays.

Torsten and Simone were wonderful and very attentive hosts. The apartment and location were perfect, we lacked nothing. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

There were four of us in the apartment for an extended weekend. Communication with Lina was great and very friendly. Edeka/DM, for example, are within walking distance. The location is 1a, right on the Seerhein, a bus stop is right outside the door. Alternatively, it is about a 20-minute walk to the old town. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We had a lovely family weekend in Conny's apartment. The apartment is very large, especially the living-dining room is really great and big enough for a larger group. The wellness area with sauna is also super nice and gives the apartment something very special. Communication was great and we always got quick feedback on questions. We will be happy to come back! :)

Marvellous hosts who couldn't do enough for us. They welcomed us in person and gave us some wine and beer! They were always available to answer any questions and to make suggestions as to what we should do. We loved the position by the little Brook and the balcony was really nice to relax on after a long walk! We loved the area and will definitely try and return in the future.

Very well kept apartment. Had everything we wanted. Close to Rhine falls.
