We loved the apartment. There was enough space, had a great balcony and the yard itself was beautiful. The hosts were easy to reach and very nice. The kitchen was well equipped, even children's cups were available. We will be happy to come back.

A lovely and quiet place with sweet, helpful, and hospitable hosts. Everything is just perfect and in tip top condition.

The place is very modern, stylish and tastefully decorated. Everything was very clean, the double bed very comfortable, the sofa bed practical but not so comfortable. At night it was very quiet. The kitchen offers everything you need for a short stay. Check-in went smoothly with the key box. We liked that the city center of Freiburg was also easily accessible by public transport. We are happy to recommend this property.

A really great quality accommodation that leaves nothing to be desired. We immediately felt totally comfortable and welcome. The hosts were always super accessible. We were there with 10 people and a toddler, and had plenty of retreats due to the great amenities. The kitchen and the hammock are a highlight and were used with enthusiasm. The b&b is a cozy, nice and comfortable place. The space has all the comforts and the view is very nice. The bed was lovely, the shower was great! You have to climb quite a few stairs to get inside, but that was fine for us to do. There were some workers working, but we didn't experience any inconvenience from that. The supermarket is at walking distance. The bakery 'Mehl &Liebe' is highly recommended! A nice place to come back again someday♡

As a family, we were looking for a short break from everyday life … and found it 100% here. Together with our dog, we were able to take beautiful walks. Bärbel and Jochen were also very, very friendly. In short, we felt very comfortable and would also love to come back any time.

We had a great extended weekend with a dog and were able to enjoy the wonderful garden. The apartment is very nicely decorated and you feel right at home. Everything is very clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and are already looking forward to next time.

We enjoyed the stay in the Black Forest Mühle near Matze very much. Perfect for those looking for a quiet weekend in a secluded location in nature. It was a great weekend and also the communication with Matze went smoothly. Through the key box, a flexible and easy check-in was possible. Thank you so much for the really beautiful location.

Great hosts, beautiful design apartment, suitable for families with literally everything you need (and more!). Town is small and quiet but has everything you need, Freiburg very easy accessible by car or public transportation.

We spent a few days visiting Alsace, and the accommodation was fantastic, a good location, with supermarkets and cafes very close by. The house is very nice, clean and very well-equipped. Self check-in, we arrived at night, very easy. Parking next to the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay!!! What a beautiful property! Dr. Edgar welcomed us and was kind enough to show us around. The owners did a tremendous job meticulously remodeling this old building and each unit is cute as a button. Very comfortable bed- slept like a baby. I also appreciated the attention to detail that was apparent everywhere. The owners clearly want you to have a amazing stay! The kitchen was very well stocked and we cooked multiple meals during our stay. There is a great Edeka market and bakery within a 4 minute walk which was super convenient. Great area for hiking and relaxing and for exploring small towns in the area. 5 stars all the way! If you see this place available, just go ahead and book it - you'll love it!

A real treasure trove for those with a penchant for design. Furnished with a lot of love for detail - modern and stylish and yet super comfortable and cozy. Everything you need. Melanie and Ron were great hosts - a visit to Ron's “Friz Lounge” is always worthwhile for good coffee, good conversations and special objects. Thank you for a great stay and we'd love to come back!
