This Airbnb was perfect for us. Beautiful location, amazing views from the windows. Plenty of things to do in nature in very close proximity. The kitchen was very well equipped. Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. This is an amazing place where you really find the silence and connect with nature. The house has a fantastic location with an incredibly great view that can be enjoyed for hours 😊 Linda responds quickly and provides all the necessary info on an ongoing basis. Super host and super communication. The house is well equipped and modern with associated good beds. This is a place where you really can currency for your money! Would love to come again and use this as a base for the next Smøla stay 😃

Beautiful home in a breathtaking landscape

Fantastic place. Really quirky, lots of amenity and only 10 mins walk to the centre of town. I’ll definitely stay again when we come back for another game of football at Aker Stadium

I recommend this Airbnb to anyone who seeks to explore the Sunnmore Alps! We had a really good time skiing the area! Oddjørn is really kind and he knows the surrounding, always willing to give some helpful advices.

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

Very spacious and roomy apartment (granny flat in the owners' house), especially kitchen, with great views of meadow/beach and bay from kitchen, living room and from the large veranda. Bedroom and (windowless) bathroom one floor below (quite narrow stairs), each slightly smaller. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen sensationally well equipped. Very friendly contact with Sissel and Ole. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to recommend the apartment!

We found a perfectly equipped and very clean place. The contact with Eva was quick and very friendly, the check-in was easy despite our very late arrival time. The view of the fjord and surrounding mountains from the dining table is stunning. We will be happy to come back!

There are some Airbnb stays that have everything you need after busy days. Both Annica and the place were like a dream. Freshly baked Swedish cardiac fish, hot tea upon arrival. Lovely roasted coffee in the morning light, before Annica lifted to the airport. Rarely have I gained such insight into the generosity of another human being. A hostess who is a rare gift. Here it was like coming home for Christmas. One adventure and the place is magical. One small stone's throw from Kiwi and bus stop. One of my best Airbnb experiences. 🩷

We had a wonderful stay at Sara’s house! The place is cozy, very beautiful, and exceptionally clean. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was peaceful, and all the little details were thoughtfully taken care of. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time in Valldal. Plenty nearby activities, nature, hikes and amazing views. Especially the view from the house to the fjord (while being in the hot tub) was stunning. The house provides everything you need, even some fruits you can pick in the garden. All 8 of us enjoyed our time in Valldal.

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!
