Cottage vacation rentals in Freeport

This is our second stay at Michael's and we hope to make plans to stay there again next year! We felt right at home and completely enjoyed our time, especially every morning and evening in the "best hot tub in Texas"!

We stayed at Tammy's place with our 2 grandsons. It is a lovely place. The house was spotless and in a great location. Our grandsons spent so much time on the beach which is just steps away from the house. My husband and I could sit on the covered porch and watch them dig for hours. Of course, we were right there with them when they wanted to go boogie boarding (3 boards available at the house). The house was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots. Tammy gave us recommendations on where to grocery shop and even a nice restaurant down the road. If I had a question, she was very responsive and answered quickly. The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed at night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We certainly hope to be able to visit again. Thank you!

My family and I had a great stay. Every picture and everything listed were very accurate. Geat space and lots of sleeping accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay! The home was clean and cozy. Our favorite part was outside as the backyard was very private with a large privacy fence and a play set that our two children absolutely loved, making it easy to visit with family while they were entertained. Would stay again!

Devon was a great host! He was super responsive and friendly. He made dinner and lunch super easy with some of his top restaurants. I will definitely book with him again on my next trip. He also has toys and games my kids loved.

Staci was SUPER helpful with our stay. She went above and beyond expectations and the place was great! I would highly recommend her for your next trip to Bolivar beach. We had a great little getaway. Location was good for me. I was using the public boat ramp, and this place it right beside it. Access was easy. Everything in the house worked. AC was cold and water was hot. Everything you need to cook and entertain. Would stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at the charming speakeasy! The home was not only beautiful and clean, but also filled with so much character and history—it truly felt like stepping back in time, in the best way. It actually looked even better in person than in the photos, which was such a pleasant surprise. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the Seawall and close to all the quaint shops, restaurants, and sights in old downtown. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. If you’re looking for a place with both comfort and soul, this is it. Highly recommend! Thanks Barbara!

This was a nice get away place, very quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Right across the street from the beach! Priya was very friendly and communicated very well. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

Perfect little place for my Wife and I to Enjoy Surfside. We had a great time. Loved the proximity to the beach (like 2 blocks) You can see, hear and smell the ocean from the front deck. We would definitely stay here again.

Home was clean and neat! It had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway.

This place is even more beautiful in person than the photos show in the listing! House was very clean, check in was easy, Katie was very responsive before and during our stay. We were in town for a wedding, and wanted a nice place to relax. The location is great, only 5-10 mins to great restaurants and the boardwalk with so much to do with your family young and old. We even had a night out downtown in Houston, which was further but not a bad drive.

Loved our stay at the cottage, actually felt much larger than space appeared in pics. Enjoyed the evening on the deck, plenty of cooking pots/pans/utensils, but also enjoyed restaurants close by. Beach just a couple blocks, very easy walk. Ron & Tony were amazing hosts, made sure we knew how to access property and even recommended a great lunch spot for us to try! Highly recommend!

Second stay here and we love it! We will be back without a doubt. The house is cozy, clean and comfortable. The location is so close to all the action. And the little yard is always perfect for us to hang out and unwind at night. Lauren is so sweet and accommodating. Thanks again for another perfect stay!
