Beach house vacation rentals in Freeport

We loved staying here and Steve was a great host! There were some plumping issues (something apparently the city has struggled with since the hurricane) but Steve was so responsive and helpful and had it fixed in no time! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing beach weekend!

My family had a wonderful vacation! Everyone said this was their favorite beach trip. The layout of the house was perfect, we loved the huge island in the kitchen for preparing meals and eating, the view from the porch was my favorite part and the house was very clean. Most of the time, we had our own private beach! It was so relaxing.

We celebrated a family birthday in this lovely beach home. It has a fantastic location - just steps from the beach, with great views of the ocean from the decks and front windows. Hosts provided all necessary amenities including bed linens, and bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. Terry and Katherine communicated well and were prompt to respond. We felt safe in this community and would definitely stay here in the future.

Gina was a great host and didn’t require a ton of mandatory cleaning by guests like many other hosts have. With that, we actually felt compelled to do more in an effort to treat the place like our own. The location is literally beach side and right next to an entry. The hammocks were great to have at the bottom level and we the beach items were a great addition. The place was cozy and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vincent’s beach house. The beach is literally a few steps outside the front door. All the bedrooms and the livingroom have decks with a nice view of the beach. We stayed during Spring Break. The beach is private access so it was peaceful and was not crowded. The kids loved the hideaway spot at the top floor and made it their own little space. This place has a lot of space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a huge refrigerator. I would definitely stay again.

Everything about this house was ideal! The house felt like home, had everything you needed to be able to just relax. The deck and view were mesmerizing and the beach was a quick walk. This was the most relaxing and peaceful place we have stayed. We will come here often, thank you for providing a place for a memorable vacation!

Melissa’s place had everything we needed. It was so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean or relax in the cozy living room and watch a movie. We enjoyed walking down the beach and ate at The Seahorse Grill several times. I recommend their queso and coconut shrimp.

House is in a great location right on the beach with easy access to and from. Being able to sit out on the deck and listen to the ocean was very peaceful!

We had a very enjoyable 4 days in Taras beautiful home. Tara did a tremendous job she thought of everything that a family would need including the above ground pool/toys /beach. Very clean and relaxing. We felt very comfortable and safe. We will definitely go back.

Coastal Castle was just as advertised. When we walked in we were greeted with a home that was tranquil, well organized and the feeling of being at a coastal dream home. The home is much bigger than I had anticipated. The rooms were very big. Two large living areas, plenty of couches and seating inside and out. I was nervous about operating the pool and spa but the host gave clear instructions and it was so simple. Whenever I had a question Gloria always got back to me within minutes. We also rented the golf cart which was perfect as we are from out of state and did not have a vehicle. I was most impressed with how well the house was stocked, condiments, towels, blankets, infant accessories (pack n play, nuby seats, toys, pool toys/inflatables/life vests) anything we were worried about not having they had. Even sunblocks, lotions, shower soaps the list just goes on and on. The kitchen also had everything! We were so impressed for our entire stay and will be back! Great Trip!

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. My family and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Flip-Flop Inn! We felt comfortable and right at home. Everything was perfect. Kelly was so attentive and replied in a timely manner! We had no issues! The back deck was amazing! The adults and children loved it. Also loved that Kelly had towels available for us to use. My family and I are looking forward to staying at the Flip-Flop Inn in the future!

Highly recommend this house for your Galveston stay especially if you have a large group! Absolutely loved the open floor plan and the front balcony was amazing for the kids to play. The pool was incredible and stocked with so many pool toys for the kids. The beach is super close - even with kids who like to take their time walking - it didn't take us more than 5 minutes and we had toes in the sand! The hosts were the most responsive and helpful that I have ever experienced - you cannot go wrong with this house! We had an incredible time and would absolutely stay here (or in any of their properties) again!

We had a wonderful stay at Jonathan’s house! It was spacious, clean, and perfect for the two of us. The backyard was peaceful and was a nice spot to relax. The heated pool was a great bonus, especially on cooler nights. The host was very easy to communicate with and made everything smooth from start to finish. Everything was just as described. We'd definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay. The pool was great to have and was very private from any neighbors. The home has a lot of great dining options nearby which we enjoyed. The house was beautiful and was a great place for a family vacation.

The place was absolutely beautiful and very clean . Communication with Tyler was easy even at night when we had trouble turning on the fire pit . I will definitely book again in the future.

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

Best oasis in Texas!!!!! Amazing spot directly on the beach, breathtaking views from multiple balconies for every guest to enjoy, with open entertaining layout inside for our family game nights. Loved the peacefulness being away from the crowded public beaches and having our private beach access. This was a surprise beach retreat to get grandparents, siblings, & our family all together for a fun/ relaxing beach vacation…. PERFECTION!!!!!! We also loved taking the kids to the Rainforest Cafe, aquarium, and mini golf but also going shopping at the outlet mall. Best part of all was that EVERYONE in our family was able to enjoy being together on vacation, including our dog. He loved running around the beach, jumping into waves, & napping in the sun. Highly recommended!!!!!

What i love about surfside how quiet and peaceful it is and the water is clear nothing like the big city like galveston and dirty water and this home was extremely spacious and loved how tall the ceilings were ! They had a playpen and several baby things which was extremely helpful for our stay with our infant ! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody !

Place was beautiful. View is amazing and the spa was great. Has everything you need with extra. Very well stocked.

We had a great stay at Casa Surfside. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Quality appliances and kitchenware that made cooking easy. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Comfy furniture. Loved all the beach gear and toys for the kids! The location was excellent. Definitely recommend staying here!

The house was perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and the beach front location can't be beat. Cathy was great to work with and very proactive in her communication. We would definitely rent again.
