Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Fredericksburg

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

This was my second stay at this Airbnb, and it was just as fantastic as the first—if not better! Returning felt like coming back to a peaceful little retreat. The space remains just as charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with every detail designed for comfort and ease. This time around, I was able to fully enjoy the private outdoor patio, and it truly elevated the experience. Whether sipping coffee in the crisp morning air or winding down with a cocktail in the evening, it quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hosts continue to go above and beyond—warm, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making every stay exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Still highly recommend without hesitation!

This was a great find! Would 100% recommend this location for future guests. They had little snacks in the cupboard and bottled water nice and cold in the fridge. Great communication from the hosts!

Loved our visit. So nice being on the lake, easy access to kayaks and fire pit right by the lake. Irene was very welcoming and let us do our thing and gave us a lot of space. The lake access was a huge selling point for the place. Would definitely return.

Uche’s place exceeded our expectations! The building and unit were clean and quiet, with all amenities as listed. He went above and beyond with thoughtful touches! If we had forgotten anything, he had already thought of it! He provided robes, slippers, and a large umbrella for inclement weather in addition to a comprehensive digital reference for the unit and local spots. We would recommend to anyone visiting Alexandria!

What a calm and peaceful private retreat! My fiancée and I spent a couple of days enjoying the brisk bay breezes and beautiful sunsets at Vickie’s. Everything was exactly as advertised and Vickie (and Scott) are true treasures—extremely responsive and thoughtful hosts who want you to have everything you need. Plus, their knowledge of the area gave us a great introduction to Leonardtown. So much more to the area than we thought! Whether birdwatching from “the best view on the block” or reflecting on the glider by the bay, we loved every moment of quiet and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you!

Beautiful home, so much natural light! Keep in mind that it is up 3 flights of stairs as well as stairs coming from the driveway to the front door. Great area, slightly away from downtown. Sherin was very communicative and a great host!

Gustavo’s place was exactly as described! We had a lot of family in from out of town for a wedding and the house was spacious enough that we never felt like we were getting in each other’s way or anything. The island in the kitchen is magnificent and was our gathering spot for everything. The snacks and amenities left for us by Gustavo were wonderful and really appreciated. Thanks for helping us all have a wonderful week!

Our stay was perfect, the property is beautiful. The house was a great fit for our family of 5 adults, including my father who was joining us. The 3 full bathrooms make the stay very stress free. Larry and Kimberly the house were extremely good at communicating. Great stat would recommend.

We couldn’t have found a more perfect place to spend a weekend away from DC. It was cozy, peaceful, and had all the amenities. Gary met us when we arrived and showed some of the natural beauties the area had to offer-turtles, catfish, a cardinal’s nest, bluebirds, purple martins. The stars at night are breathtaking. Great place, great location. I grew up next to train tracks, so the "noise" jostled some great memories. The space could use some minor upgrades, but great value nevertheless. Plenty of hot water and the bed was excellent. Given the organized and smooth welcome, I was a little surprised that I received no response to my texts (making a minor request) after check-in.

We enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing and comfortable stay. The decor is delightful; so welcoming! We loved the personal touches like the welcome note and fresh cut flowers. There were beautiful indoor real plants and amazing views from every angel! They also recommended local places to go. We enjoyed siping coffee in the sun room, giggling all night drinking wine and sunset views. Thank you for proving the best quiet place we could ask for. Our stay exceeded our expectations. Our stay at Occaquan was peaceful, relaxing, and very much needed. Arriving to the parking lot was a breeze, only because if John's specific instructions to find it, that was very much appreciated after a long drive. Walking into the place, first impression, looks just like the picture. The very next thought, "how cute is this". From the beautiful window behind the couch with a lovely tree to watch birds in to the cozy feeling of being in a familiar place. This place is quiet, surrounded with beautiful historic scenery, and has many local shops and vendors to spend an afternoon exploring. We walked down to the park by the water way and learned some history while soaking up the sun and the breeze of nature. I absolutely recommend John's place for a stay. I know I will be returning for a simple, relaxing get away, once again! Thank you John for everything!

This was a perfect stay in a beautiful condo with a terrific host. There was nothing more you could ask for. Katie's condo was as neat as a pin, had everything I needed, and was both easily accessible to everything I wanted to get to, but restful and quiet. I liked it so much. I added it on an extra night.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. My husband and I came for the Nationals vs Cubs series and the location couldn’t have been better! The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Israel was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and made check in and check out smooth and hassle free! You can really tell he cares about his guests’ experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay!

We had a terrific experience. We were familiar with the area as we lived in Old Town a few years ago so the location was easy for us. If you are unfamiliar with the locations I can tell you it is easily walkable to King Street and many other amenities are nearby. Amanda is a great host - the apartment was perfect for the 2 of us to stay, it was immaculate and was everything she described. Amanda is very responsive, friendly and her directions for accessing the apartment were very clear. We would definitely stay again on a future visit.
