My family and I were very pleased with Eric and his lake house. It was perfect, clean, and very inviting. The home and location matched the pictures; in fact, it was better in person. Everything we wanted to do was there, we only went to the market. Eric was very attentive and when I had a question or a concern- he was quick to follow up and he was a great communicator. He responses were prompt and friendly. This meant everything to me. He did not act like a stranger; he welcomed us into his beautiful home. If I had my way, I'd still be there but work calls. I would highly recommend Eric and his lake house. I'm already talking to my husband about making plans to go back next year around the same time. If you're looking for a home beside the water with kayaks, grills, fire pit, and life jackets and close to beaches and most importantly a host who cares and will be attentive, check out this property and Eric. They both deliver.

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

Connie’s place was great! Looked just like the photos. The house was clean and in a great area. Nice and friendly neighbors. We enjoyed the community beaches that are super close, clean and dog friendly. It was a prefect weekend trip. We would book here again!

Whether it's a big family or friend get to gather; you will have an amazing time at this home. I literally can't think of anything more I would want in a get away! Andy and Ling were always responsive and very kind. Thank you for the great time.

I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

Amazing stay at Lake Anna was perfect from start to finish. The house is beautiful and Daniel was always available to answer any questions. We travelled with another family and it was the perfect trip for our young families. Will definitely be back!

The Resort was a lovely home on a quiet street. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Backyard was small but very well done with a pool and lots of seating. Host was friendly and responded quickly. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Gustavo’s place was exactly as described! We had a lot of family in from out of town for a wedding and the house was spacious enough that we never felt like we were getting in each other’s way or anything. The island in the kitchen is magnificent and was our gathering spot for everything. The snacks and amenities left for us by Gustavo were wonderful and really appreciated. Thanks for helping us all have a wonderful week!

Absolutely phenomenal home and hosts, would return any time! Stayed for over two months, and they were consistently helpful, responsive, and accommodating from the first day to the last. I cannot say enough great things about them and the property! This place is the perfect retreat for any group, book it now!!

Great place, clean and excellent price point! Located in a great neighborhood,close to restaurants and local shopping, this place is perfect. Spacious living room, perfect bedroom and the bathroom was spacious and extremely clean. I will be staying there again

Great place, great location. I grew up next to train tracks, so the "noise" jostled some great memories. The space could use some minor upgrades, but great value nevertheless. Plenty of hot water and the bed was excellent. Given the organized and smooth welcome, I was a little surprised that I received no response to my texts (making a minor request) after check-in.

Would definitely stay here again! We came as a larger group of 9- there was plenty of room for all! My son and nephew spent the entire weekend fishing off the dock while others played yard games (included in rental). Beds were comfy, kitchen fully stocked! Location was perfect - not too far from "civilization" yet surrounded by woods and felt very private. Communication with owner was always easy and responses were fast. Do not hesitate to rent here!

We had the most wonderful stay at this amazing home! Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than we expected. The house had everything we needed—so comfortable and well-equipped that we didn’t even feel like going out! Every little detail was just right, making our trip feel extra special. This was a family trip before my mother’s return to Thailand, and staying here made it truly memorable. We are so grateful for the warmth, comfort, and care this home provided. We stayed at Laura's home in King George for about 5 months, and it was an amazing stay overall. The house looks exactly like it does in the photos, is well kept, has extra linens available, and is very cozy. The sunroom was great to sit out in, and it has all the amenities listed. Everything was functioning great, and the grill out back was a fantastic addition as well. The area is very peaceful and walkable. We had our dog with us, and we walked him every day around the cottage, where we would be greeted by the neighbors, or Laura herself. It was very convenient having a beach that we could walk to, and a restaurant right down the road as well. Laura was a great host from check in to check out. She was very attentive to our needs and assisted us whenever we were having any issues. It was very convenient for her to be right down the road, as she could physically come and see us if necessary. I will definitely be staying here again if I am ever in the area.

She is quick to respond back to your questions. Her Airbnb is nice and peaceful and is quiet around her Airbnb and it’s very nice outside and inside.

We had a wonderful stay while visiting family in the area. We were traveling with several families, all with young kids, and this home was the perfect setup for us. There was plenty of space for everyone, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches for families—like multiple pack-and-plays, a high chair, and a great selection of toys and games that kept the kids entertained. The home was clean, comfortable, and just as pictured. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, answering questions quickly and making everything easy from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend for anyone traveling with kids or in a larger group!

The property was just gorgeous!!! I didn't spend a lot of time actually in the house because of our schedule that week (we were there because I was taking classes), but I thoroughly enjoyed coming back to Gary's place to see the view and hear the birds and just the beauty. Thanks so much!

The dock area was great, as were the kayak, and other water toys. The house was nicely decorated and accommodating for our group.

Kimberley is an amazing host! The Carriage House is in a beautiful location and had all the amenities we needed for us and our two dogs during our 10-day stay. We look forward to our next visit!

We were there for a high school graduation on the marine base so it was a great location for getting to the base. You can’t really see the house from the road because there is a house in front of it. The cottage itself is very comfortable and is every bit like the photos show. We would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect long weekend get away we were looking for. The home is in great condition. The trees offer so much shade it was nice sitting on the deck during the day and for meals. Alfred is an excellent host, checking in while we were there. We enjoyed sitting by the water, relaxing in the hammock and walking the dogs around the neighborhood. Highly recommend for a relaxing get away!
