Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Franschhoek

We had the most wonderful stay at The Lookout. A well equipped, beautiful space with amazing views. St James itself is also a lovely spot. We loved looking in the unique shops, having coffees, and feeling so free, we would definitely like go back. Imraan and his family were so friendly and welcoming. Just what we needed after a long stressful journey.

First off, Belinda is a fantastic host—extremely responsive and clear in her instructions. In addition to Belinda’s great hosting, there’s a housekeeper and a gardener who are both incredibly kind and maintain the house in top form. The house itself is very spacious and even more impressive than the photos suggest. It features three large indoor kitchen areas and an outdoor Braai. If you love cooking, this place is a dream come true! The pool is wonderful, though it does occasionally collect pollen and leaves from the neighbors’ trees. The house can comfortably accommodate six adults, but we stayed with just two adults and a baby for most of our stay. It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood, just a five-minute drive from Stellenbosch. There’s plenty to do nearby, offering the perfect balance of being close to Stellenbosch’s lively city center while still enjoying the peace and quiet. Definitely a place we would love to come back to!

We loved our stay at this beautiful house in a fantastic setting in Stellenbosch. Mitford and Ilsa couldn’t have been friendlier, and the house and pool were the perfect base for our group to explore the winelands. We’d be delighted to come back!

Our family had a fantastic 3-night stay at Yvette's place. The house is stylish and comfortable - perfect for a family getaway. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized. We loved all the board and yard games, and there's even a little mud kitchen in the backyard where our son happily mixed up "potions". The outdoor space really makes this property stand out. The back garden is a little oasis - just a lovely spot to sit with a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The parking garage was really handy and the property is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but close to several great beaches and only a 20 minute drive from the Durbanville wine region. We also really appreciated the list of local restaurant recommendations the hosts shared. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Laurence’s place! He was extremely accommodating for a very early check-in, communicative throughout, and reacted immediately when we needed things. Location was perfect - walkable to the promenade and restaurants easily. Just up a steep hill, so be aware of that! Was no problem at all for us. Some little nigling things in the condo need fixing, but Laurence is going to attend to them in the off-season. Bottom floor can be dark if cloudy but outdoor spaces make up for it. Bonus: there is a LOVELY cat next door who will visit you (and stay). Wine at sunset on the balcony was the highlight of the stay 😌 Thanks heaps, Laurence!

We had a great stay. Close enough to Worcester and restaurants to visit, far enough away to have peace. The hot tub was great fun. Splash pool was welcome as it was quite hot. Nice view from the stoep.

Everything was perfect! Starting from the beautiful house and it's facilities to comfortable and safe location with nice places for eat and shopping around. Thanks to Sonya and Zi for helping and useful advices, and for hospitality as well, it was very pleasant to keep in touch with them. And the most amazing part was the rooftop terrace with jakuzzi and panoramic night view over the city

The house was stunning, it felt very peaceful waiting for the family and we enjoyed how spacious the villa was. From the moment we received the keys, we were given a detailed guide on how to get around. The kids loved the swimming pool and that VIEW?! Breathtaking. Miriam was a great host and ready to help whenever we reached out. Thank you for such a wonderful stay 🙂

Our stay at The Rafters was lovely! The house was a quintessential artists cottage with amazing artwork and beautiful interior design. It had everything we needed, but the rooms did get very chilly at night, especially with a little baby. It is walking distance to all the amazing restaurants in Kalk Bay. We loved our stay and wholeheartedly recommend it to other travellers! The wood-fired hot tub was very popular too!

We have been to a number of Countryside AirBnB's and Sitrus Huijs came out as one of the top stays. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail, the decor and the warm homely feel of the property. It absolutely matched the descriptions and there was even more on offer when we arrived. The tub was heated, fresh flowers all over and a beautiful kitchen for great cooking and dinners. The house is beautiful, and we would have stayed longer if holidays permitted. Thank you Rouen and Johan, you own a true gem in Villiersdorp. Most highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient — close to shops, restaurants, a bit far from key attractions. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout. Overall, a lovely spot to unwind and explore the city from. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting CPT!

Very spacious and clean home. Leona and James were welcoming and responsive hosts. We weren’t able to use the pool due to the weather, but it would have been wonderful if hot. Being able to hike right up the road is also something we didn’t take advantage of due to time and winds but is a wonderful feature. We did enjoy meals on the back deck and great views of table mountain from the side deck. Excellent Shift espresso cafe and deer park cafe restaurant within walking distance down the road.

Our stay was just incredibly beautiful! The house is located in the middle of the vineyards and is a real dream house both from the inside and from the outside. We were particularly enthusiastic about the hot tub and the bathtub in the treehouse – simply an unforgettable experience with this dreamlike view. Below our house there was a large lodge where we were allowed to enjoy a great barbecue. The chef prepared everything with a lot of love and only used ingredients from the in-house garden. The entire service team was also incredibly accommodating and warm. A special highlight: Our faithful watchdog, who waited over us at night. We felt completely comfortable and safe – an absolute recommendation!

This was the perfect place to stay in Cape Town! The views are incredibly stunning. You can see Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, the Twelve Apostles, and the ocean. Needless to say the sunsets were unreal. Stewart was the most kind host, offering flexible check in time and helping us with luggage storage the day of check out. He also had great recommendations. Would love to come back and stay again!

An extraordinary stay, inspiring

Very nice cottage in the middle of beautiful big apples farm. Not too far from Cape Town. We enjoyed hot bath and cold pool. Children were happy!

Breathtaking views and such a good location. Had a little difficulty getting up to the cabin with my car but it is quite low. Overall had a great experience!

What a peaceful place definitely coming back

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

Our weekend in Kalk Bay staying at this beautiful and unique pad was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed in by a huge pod of thousands of dolphins in False Bay which was incredible. We were absolutely thrilled upon arrival to find a gorgeous home - stone, glass and wood with lots of local features and character. We loved spending hours on the deck soaking up the views and Kalk Bay vibe. It is in the perfect location in Kalk Bay - high enough to have amazing views of the mountain, harbour and ocean, and low enough to have easy access via stone steps to the wonderful shops, restaurants and bakeries in the village. We loved our walks along the seaside and our swims in the refreshing tidal pools, all within easy walk of this cottage. The hospitality from Greg, and Jane, was so warm and welcoming with lots of special touches to help us enjoy our weekend. This is a 10/10 experience and a stay that I highly recommend. This is going to become one of my favourite getaways!

This is a truly stunning place if you want to escape on a little getaway! Stunning views from the terrace and being off grid you get to use the wood fired pizza oven and hot tub for a relaxing time. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful!
