Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Franklin County

This place was a perfect get away; peaceful, cozy and with a view! The hosts were responsive and friendly. The location has necessities close to it by car and it’s not too far away from Burlington if you need a bit more. The house was very clean - our only comment would be that there was a bit of a musty odour to the place. We would definitely return if we’re ever back in Vermont!

Great cabin! Love the wood work! Custom cabinets. Its location allows for easy arrival and departure. Lessons learned during the prior mud season!

What a beautiful place! We enjoyed Chris's place as a lovely retreat after long days of skiing. The kitchen was well-appointed, the wood stove was so enjoyable, and the kids loved all the games, pool table, and dart board. Here's hoping we can plan another trip there again next year!

I have stayed in a many rental properties over the years and I have never had a kitchen so loaded with everything a cook could ask for - very helpful! Amazing views and a 20 minute drive to Jay - just a great experience. The property is on a dirt road, which is no joke. Make sure you have the right vehicle for Vermont mud season and you will have the time of your life. Highly recommended!

Very nice place with a waterfront view! Quiet neighborhood and all around good vibes.

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

Beautiful location, even in the snow storm. Sauna is fantastic, as was fire place. Huge laundry room was a plus. Great hiking within 10 min drive. Couple things to know. The doors to the bathroom and the one bedroom are folding pocket doors (like ones you might find on a closet) and are very acoustically transparent. They are right off of the main living space, so just a thing to be aware of if that is going to be a problem for your group. This is very much a lake house / winter cabin kind of space. It is not pristine. If you have young children, I might not feel comfortable bathing them in the tub, but it was certainly fine for tweens and adults to shower in. But if your expectations are set going in, you'll have a nice stay.

My family and I had a short, but great stay when we were in town for an event. We had a blast in the garage playing darts, ping pong and doing a puzzle. We did end up taking a few dirt roads to get to the Airbnb, but it’s a beautiful spot and has plenty of space for a large group. We would highly recommend Missy’s house to others!

Mitchel's place was exactly as described. The place was spotless. Comfortable beds and an equipped kitchen. Walkable neighborhood to several very good local restaurants. We explored all of upstate Vermont and the Plattsburgh area.

Maxx was great with communicating - got back immediately when we realized the directions of the map did not make sense (brought us in front of a restaurant on the main road). He confirmed apartment was in fact at the resort. We got to the guest service where were given directions to the apartment which was conveniently located next to the ski lift and we did not need to even use the shuttle to go to the village center - it was 5 min walking distance.Apartment was very spacious and kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Overall it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Maxx as a reliable host!

Thank you so much for hosting us! We had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable. The location was close to Jay Peak. One min walk to gas station/ restaurants/ cafe ect. It was perfect for our dog. Would recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here on a long weekend up to visit my horse who’s retiring up here. The location was perfect, close drive to all the other busier towns, easy to get to many hikes, good coffee shops, etc! We felt super comfortable and at home here, would come back and recommend to others!

The house was very nice right on smuggler's notch. Easy check-in and access to the resort and mountain. There were a few odds and ends that were missing but after speaking with the host they were able to address them. I would recommend bringing a shovel if you do not have one as there is not one at the house and it snowed while we were there and it was a little difficult getting out. The house itself was very nice Little things here and there could use updating but overall it was a great trip.

Had a very nice and relaxing time at the apartment. The hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The space is cozy and has all the amenities. The area is quiet and near a scenic walking trail. We had an extra memorable time watching the eclipse with them, and hope to stay again if we're in Vermont!
