In Fall 2024 I moved Back Inn Time B&B outside of St Albans to a gorgeous lot in Fairfax. Just 10 minutes away, it feels like we're in a haven of natural inspiration, with a mixture of meadows, trees, a babbling brook and lake view. Creature comforts abound--far infrared sauna, fitness room, saltwater hot tub, pool...the same luxury linens we're famous for, and above all, the same hospitality. Meadow Suite at Back Inn Time

Meadow Suite is a cozy, self-catering accommodation built in Summer 2025. It features top of the line appointments--living area with propane fireplace, full kitchen, and private deck off the king bedroom from which you can see majestic sunsets over the meadow and forest beyond. Essentials for cooking, and bathing are included. The bathroom is spacious and features a large shower with natural light. The bedroom features a luxury mattress and is accessed by pocket door from the living area.

A Vermont Country Inn - Blue room

As of November 1, 2021, we will no longer be accepting guests who are not vaccinated against Covid-19. Our facility is simply not large enough to safely socially distance our vaccinated and unvaccinated guests. This decision is made to enhance the safety of guests and hosts alike. The Hydrangea Room in B & B

The Hydrangea Room has a queen bed, private bath with jetted tub and separate walk in shower for a spa like bathing experience. The color scheme is relaxing; morning sun can provide rainbows in the shower area. Triple dresser with mirror, antique desk, easy chair, closet, iron and board, hair dryer, and smart TV for streaming music and shows, plus antenna for broadcast TV. Complimentary WiFi service, and a great home cooked breakfast with freshly ground coffee every morning.

About our lovely bed & breakfast The house was built in the late 1800s by one of the early Vermont families that originally settled the area during the 1700s. At its height, the family farm spanned nearly 400 acres with the farmhouse as its centerpiece. Over the years that followed, the farmhouse came to know a number of owners until we finally purchased the home in 2010 and have been lovingly restoring the home and its grounds ever since.
