Beachfront vacation rentals in Franklin County

We chose this camp because it was on the center line of totality for the 2024 eclipse. Neither the camp nor the eclipse disappointed! The camp is on the shore of Lake Champlain. The sunsets on the lake were incredible. Because we were there so early in the season there was no one in the neighboring cabins. It was so peaceful and quiet. Fabien was a great host. He adapted to our travel changes and met us at the camp when we arrived. He had already lit the wood stove. The camp has sulphur smelling water but Fabien provided us with about 7 gallons of bottled spring water to get us started. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Saint Albans, Burlington and Grand Isle. Don’t miss Niquette Bay State Park. They have many enjoyable and scenic hiking trails. They are moderately challenging with some elevation change and rocks and roots but nothing requiring specialized gear. Devyn’s Creemees was great! Lines out into the parking lot every evening for maple soft ice cream. Yum!

Had a great time in the St. Albans area of Vermont - as noted by others, the sunsets on the lake at Alec's place are something spectacular! Perfect location for us as our friends were stay at cabins just down the road. Enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Beautiful peaceful location on the lake. Lots to do in the area. A few sharp knives would be useful in the kitchen but we made due.

Beautiful lakeside location. Large TV, cozy couch and fireplace. WiFi speeds sufficient to work remotely. Large kitchen with the essentials, good fridge/freezer, good stove/oven, but no dishwasher. There are neighbors along the lake but it is very quiet and serene. Josie was responsive to questions. Would stay again.

Mary Beth's place is a dream! It is super cute, comfortable, and clean, but the most amazing part is how close it is to the water. There are gorgeous views of the lake from the comfy daybed, the kitchen, and the deck. The beds are comfy, too. I look forward to returning soon.

The home is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, with a wonderful view of Lake Champlain from all but one room. There is a surprising amount of space with lots of little nooks for folks who want a bit of privacy from other guests during their stay. The kitchen is well appointed and I was able to find every utensil or dishware/glassware that I would want. the instructions for using the hot tub are easy to follow and it provided a wonderful way to look at over the lake. The outside landscaping is extremely well done and, weather cooperating, provides even more space for the guests. The area is very peaceful and is a great please to unwind and/or read.

We had a group of 7. We came to play disc golf at Smuggler's Notch. Smuggs was a 15 minute drive from the house so it's a great location for that. Stop at the Cupboard Deli for a fast, easy and delicious bfast or lunch! We all had our own rooms so there was plenty of space to spread and have a little alone time if needed. On the flip side there was plenty of space to gather and play games. The dining room fit all of us perfectly for that. The chickens, hens, pigs and horses were a extremely unique and worthwhile feature. They were friendly and very entertaining to watch. Diana was a great host. She answered all my messages and questions in a timely manner. I would recommend staying here for sure!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at the camp. It was such a beautiful, peaceful, and idyllic setting where we could walk, hike, enjoy the sunsets and fire pit, and relax on the the screened in porch. It was a great base for a couple of day trips as well short drives to St. Albans and the Burlington area for dining. Everything was very well done and as advertised.

Beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets. So peaceful and relaxing if you want a getaway. We will be returning— that is how much we enjoyed our time at this cozy cottage filled with picturesque scenery and the sounds of nature.

Very great place to stay for a little vacation or just anything really. The sunrise over the lake sitting on the front porch in the morning is absolutely wonderful. Room are very decent sized and beds are very comfy over all great place to stay. Also very decent restaurant right down the road

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

This was our second annual trip to St. Albans for the Maple Festival. We had booked the same house we rented last year but at the last minute it was sold and our reservation was canceled. We felt blessed that these two cottages were available. As there were only 3 of us it was a lot more room then we needed but we loved the two cottages and they worked well for us! Unfortunately, the weather was crazy! One day it snowed and the next day it was in the high 60's with beautiful sunshine. We had a great time - and the area offers tons to do - come rain, snow or sunshine! We plan to return next year!

We had a wonderful stay! There was a small heating issue when we arrived, but Evolve resolved it quickly and professionally. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfect for our two families with kids. The location on the lake was peaceful and beautiful, with stunning views and a quiet atmosphere. We even needed to extend our stay due to an unexpected issue, and because the home was available, Evolve handled the extension quickly and kindly. The little touches made a big difference—plenty of clean towels, extra soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. We didn’t need anything. It was a relaxing, easy, and truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely visit to North Hero! The cottage was well appointed and stocked with everything you could need! Tiffany was a great host and everything was as described!
